Objective: To evaluate the relationship between HRCT severity of lung aging andRelated Risk Factors, and to predict the value of illness.Method:176hospitalized patients examined lung HRCT were investigatedretrospectively among them with male109cases and female67cases, which the age isfrom48to93years and the average age (70.112.0).176patients were screened outwith collecting whole clinical date. Among them there are56patients without lungaging (non-lung aging) and120patients with lung aging. According to Li Kunchengclassification, lung aging patients were divided into2grades: mild and severe. Singleand multi-logistic regression analyses were used to assess the relationship between lungaging severity and risk Factors. Clinical related risk factors of lung aging are as follows:age, gender, chronic bronchitis, allergy, smoking, stive touching, coronary disease,hypertension, drinking, diabetes mellitus, heavy physical labour as well.Results: The lung aging features of HRCT are emphysema pulmonum, Interstitiallung changes, Pulmonary ground glass opacity, Small pulmonary nodules, Bronchialwall thickening and so on. Single factor Logistic regression analysis was used to assessthe correlation mild lung aging and severe lung aging respectively with the non-lungaging, and significant risk factors (p﹤0.1) were entered into the multi-factors Logisticregression analysis. A backward stepwise modeling technique was used to assessrespectively the correlation severity of lung aging with the non-lung aging. The factorswith a statistically significant difference (p≤0.05) were independent risk factors associated with lung aging. The results:1.The group of mild lung aging: smoking (OR=3.890P=0.030,95%CI:1.139-3.291), chronic bronchitis(OR=4.104, P=0.055,95%CI:0.970-1.363),stivetouching(OR=3.031, P=0.000,95%CI:2.951-5.738), coronary disease(OR=0.161,P=0.036,95%CI:0.029-0.886)are related to mild-lung aging genesis.2.The group of severe lung aging: The age≥70(OR=0.069, P=0.002,95%CI:0.0102-0.978),chronic bronchitis(OR=9.809, P=0.004,95%CI:2.089-6.066),smoking(OR=1.645, P=0.000,95%CI:0.011-7.016), stive touching(OR=16.868,P=0.001,95%CI:1.435-2.839), hypertension(OR=1.635P=0.001,95%CI:2.923-3.274)are related to severe-lung aging.Conlusion:1、MSCT may be the first choice for the diagnosis of lung aging and classification.MSCT displays more lesions and severity, especially HRCT.2、The age≥70years, chronic bronchitis, smoking, stive touching, hypertensionwere independent risk factors for lung aging.3、The severe lung aging were correlated with age≥70years, chronic bronchitis,hypertension., but the severity of lung aging was not correlated with smoking, stivetouching.
