Clinical Application Of Ultrasonic Debridement Allied With VSD In Chronic Wounds

Objective：To Observe and evaluate the effect of the ultrasonic debridement allied withVSD (Vacuum sealing drainage)on promoting the healing process of chronic woundsand explore a new therapy for accelerating the healing time of chronic infectionwound.Methods：There were434objects in this study,all of them were Patients with chronicwounds, hospitalized in The emergency department of the first affiliated hospital ofZhengzhou university since September.2012to January.2014.they Were randomlydivided into Ultrasound debridement group in which there were206patients andRoutine debridement group in which there were228patients. Patients in Ultrasounddebridement group were debrided by Ultrasonic debridement instrument,Cover thewounds with VSD materials after the debridements,debride the wounds every sevendays following with new VSD materials Until the wounds healing,become freshenough for kin grafting or skin flap operation or Can be stitched to repair the wound.Change the VSD materials with out delay when there were serious blockages in thedrainage tubes,or Vacuum sealing drainage were out of work.Patients in Routinedebridement group were debrided by Conventional methods. Cover the wounds withVSD materials after the debridements, debride the wound every seven daysfollowing with new VSD materials Until the wound healing,becomes fresh enoughfor kin grafting or skin flap operation or Can be stitched to repair the wound.Changethe VSD material with out delay when there were serious blockages in the drainagetubes,or Vacuum sealing drainage were out of work.To observe and evaluate theefficacy of Bacterial clearance,The wound healing time, the operating time andHospitalization days. Results：These in Ultrasound debridement group shown superiority in the efficacy ofBacterial clearance,The wound healing time, the operating time and Hospitalizationdays by comparison with those in Routine debridement group.(p<0.05)Conclusion：Treat chronic wounds with Ultrasonic debridement instrument allied with VSDcan improve the efficiency and effect of debridement, accelerate the wound healingtime, It is a good and new combination therapy for chronic wound which is worthy ofpopularization and application.
