Determination Of DNJ And Flavonoids Contents In Five Silkworm Powders Of The Main Varieties In GuangXi

There are all kinds of silkworm resources in Guangxi. The sericulture from traditional industry to the diversified development is the development trend in the future.In this study,we determined the DNJ contents in the silkworm powder by RP-HPLC-UV.We determined the total flavonoids in the silkworm resources by colorimetry.The results can provide the development of Guangxi sericulture as theoretical basis in medicinal value.The main research contents and results are as follows:1. It is concluded that the starvation treatment would be advisable from6h to12h;The DNJ content in the silkworm powder would be higher in third day of age of5,when determined the DNJ content of the silkworm powder in the different periods of the age of4and5.The flavonoids content in the silkworm powder would be higher in forth day of age of5.The contents of DNJ and flavonoids is the highest,which were treated by vacuum freeze-drying.Mulberry leaf contains2.8524±0.1292mg/g of DNJ and21.3138±0.9293mg/g of flavonoids.So,we could prepare the silkworm powder in third day of age of5,which is treated in12h starvation,and treated by vacuum freeze-drying.2. The DNJ content in spring silkworm larva is6.3630±0.1057mg/g.And the content in fall silkworm larva is5.9450±0.2618mg/g.The flavonoids content in spring silkworm is6.9773±0.6007mg/g.And the flavonoids content in fall silkworm is5.9456±0.7721mg/g. So the spring silkworm larva is better.The content of DNJ in the silkworm larvae is far higher than that in mulberry leaf. And the content of flavonoids in mulberry leaf is much higher than that in silkworm larvae.3. The content of DNJ in Guisangyou12is higher than Sha2×Lun109.The content of mulberry DNJ peaks at the end of May after shooting trimming in winter.The content of mulberry flavonoids peaks at the end of February and June respectively.The content of DNJ peaks at the mid-October.The content of DNJ in Guisangyoul2is3.0967±0.2035mg/g.And the DNJ in Sha2×Lun109is3.7700±0.1884mg/g.The flavonoids of mulberry leaf increases obviously and be the highest in one year after the frost fall.4. The silkworm powder’s DNJ content from5silkworm varieties and2mulberry varieties were determined to find which group will be more suitable for Guangxi.The result is that the7532and Guisangyou12will be better,which the DNJ content is7.6619±0.1629mg/g.Of course the combination of932and Sha2×Lun109is also suitable,which is7.3500±0.2441mg/g.The Liangguang2hao and Sha2×Lun109contains the highest flavonoids content,which is8.4178±0.3615mg/g.5. Silkworm chrysalis has no DNJ.But the flavonoids in male pupa is10.4782±0.6489mg/g,and in female pupa is8.0621±0.6855mg/g. The ramulus mori DNJ content cutting in the summer is higher than cutting in winter.The ramulus mori flavonoids content cutting in winter is higher than cutting in summer.1-3age excrementum bombycis contain more DNJ.4-5age excrementum bombycis contain more flavonoids.
