Objective: To observe and evaluate the clinical curative effect of the main decoctionof cataract disease for the treatment of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type of RetinalVein Obstruction.Methods:60patients that were diagnosed as Qi stagnation and blood stasis type ofretinal vein occlusion, and consistent with the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria, were randomly divided into the treatment group(30cases,30eyes,the main decoction ofcataract disease)and control group (30cases,30eyes,Compound Xueshuantong capsule). The two groups were in accordance with the provisions of medication, and stopedtaking other relevant drugs and treatment methods during the treatment, otherconditions must be as far as possible balanced and consistent.Observe and record thevision, fundus, fundus fluorescein angiography, the change of blood rheology andsymptomatic efficacy of Chinese Medicine before and after the treatment between thetwo groups, and then evaluate the clinical curative effect. Results:â‘ The comprehensive efficacy results:In the treatment group(30cases),5caseswere cured,9cases had marked effect,12cases were improved,4cases had no effect, the total effective rate was86.7%.In the control group (30cases),1cases were cured,4cases had marked effect,17cases were effective,8cases were invalid, the total effectiverate was73.3%.The result of comparison of two groups (P<0.05)had statisticalsignificance, indicating that the comprehensive curative effect of the main decoctionof cataract disease for the treatment of Retinal Vein Obstruction of qi stagnation andblood stasis type is superior to that of compound Xueshuantong capsule.â‘¡Inimproving the symptomatic efficacy of Chinese Medicine: In the treatment group(30cases),2cases were healed,9cases were markedly effective, effective in16cases,3cases had no effect, the total effective rate was90%. In the control group (30cases),1cases were healed,5cases were markedly effective, effective in18cases,6cases were not cured, the total effective rate was80%. The result of comparison of two groups (P<0.05) were significantly different, it showed that the efficacy of the treatment groupis better than control group.â‘¢Visual acuity were increased after the treatment inboth two groups, fundus hemorrhage and exudation were reduced. The comparisonresults within group before and after the treatment (P<0.05) were statisticallysignificant, indicating that the two drugs have therapeutic effects; The curative effectcomparison between two groups after treatment (P<0.05) were significantly different, which indicated that the curative effect of treatment-group in such aspects asimproving eyesight, and fundus was better than that of the control group.â‘£Theresults of hemorrheologic changes: Comparison results of the hemorheology indexes(P<0.05) were improved between two groups before and after the treatment. Aftertreatment between the two groups, the whole blood low-shear viscosity (P>0.05) hadno significant difference, the whole blood high-shear viscosity and plasma viscosity(P<0.05) had statistical significance. The curative effect of the treatment group inimproving the blood viscosity is superior to that of the control group. Conclusion:â‘ The main decoction of cataract disease can significantly improve theclinical symptoms of patients with Qi stagnation and blood stasis type of retinal veinocclusion, improve vision, and promote the absorption of fundus Haemorrhage andexudation.â‘¡The main decoction of cataract disease is safe and effective in thetreatment of RVO,with no obvious side effects.â‘¢The main decoction of cataractdisease has certain curative effect in reducing blood viscosity in patients with RVO.
