The Clinical Research On Efficacy Of Jiangtangshanhuangpian For Early-Stage Diabetic Nephropathy

ObjectiveJiangtangsanhuangpian is based on Taohe Chengqi Tang which comes from TCM classic books<Shang Han Lun>. For years many scholars study clinical trial and animal experiment. They confirmed the Taohe Chengqi Tang’s treatment effect on diabetes and complicating disease. However little clinical research has been canducted on Jiangtangsanhuangpian. The study research the safe theoretical foundation and curative effect. Through the Jiangtangsanhuangpian to add and subtract observed treatment for early-stage diabetic nephrosis patient clinical symptoms、signs、relative laboratory indexes and health related quality of life impact.Methods60cases from the Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Endocrinology outpatient and hospitalized patients, were equal divided into treatment group and control group. They between gender, age, course of disease and so on, there are no significant difference.With the same basic diabetes therapies, including nutrition and physical training interference, in reduceing blood press, valsartan to be preferred, treatment group give the Jingtangsanhuangpian in addition.Both groups were treated for2months.We obserbe and compare changes of clinical symptoms, sign, relative laboratory indexes.ResultsThrough the research we can make a summary. Before the research there was no significant difference(P>0.05)in the traditional Chinese medical syndrome, BMI, BP, LDL-C, FPB, MPV, PLT, Cyc, Scr, ACR, quality of life. In the treatment group, SBP had been reduced (P<0.05), but DBP had not (P>0.05). there was no significant difference(P>0.05) between two groups in BP. there was significant difference(P<0.05)in the traditional Chinese medical syndrome between two groups.In two groups Cyc, ACR are lower than before treatment (P<0.01),however campared with controls,the treatment group was no significant difference(P>0.05). By the Mann-Whitney U.effect of treatment group is better than the controlsConclusionJiangtangsanhuangpian can obviously improve the traditional Chinese medical syndrome; Jiangtangsanhuangpian with valsartan can reduce the ACR more than valsartan alone;can improve the quality of life in patients with early-stage diabetic nephropathy. Indicating Jiangtangsanhuangpian on early-stage diabetic nephropathy patients has wholesome effect. Its mechanism of action may be related to the method of reduce blood viscosity, improve microcirculation, involved in glucose metabolism, protect the kidney and so on.
