Objective:With the development of modern industry, noise has become one of the most common occupational-disease in industrial production. Occupational noise hazard problem is still a serious health threat for workers and attracted more and more attention, Therefore,it is very important to study the effect of noise on human health and the control measures. To understand the affect of noise on human healthy in wood-process industry which is one of the occupational hazard factors and research the extent of injury that how productive noise damages the operating group’s internal system. To discuss the relationship between the contact dosage of the working group in wood-process industry and neurasthenic syndrome, hypertension prevalence rate, electrocardiographic abnormality, hearing impairment, ect. In the meanwhile, analyze the correlation between the factors of working age, age and hearing impairment, hypertension, electrocardiographic abnormality. To offer a proposal for control of occupational noise injury and provide scientific basis for prevention occupational disease in the industry.Methods:193people who worked in the noise work place were the contact group and all53administrative staffs were selected as a control group in this firm who never get touch with noise. We conducted the professional health examination to the respondents according to National Occupational Physical Examination Standard which included department of surgery, internal medicine issue, blood pressure, X-ray issue, ear-nose-throat, electrocardiogram, blood routine examination, routine urine test, etc. both noise monitoring point in workplace every day and mobile operation were the noise value measurement point which was according the space, area, noise equipment layout, working process of the workplace. We sampled under the full load which can insure that we can get all the noise level in every operating post in every workshop. We adopt the χ-test and t/-test to analyze the data using SPSS11.5according to the category of data.Result:We monitored total15noise operating point in this wood-process industry. The highest noise monitoring value was104.0dB(A).the average noise value of all the operation point exceeded the occupational health standards which is85dB(A). Prevalence rate of neurasthenic syndrome among noise contact group was59.6%,which was higher than control group (18.9%)(χ2=27.583, P<0.001) and the rate increased with the rise of noise intensity (χ1趋势=30.106, P<0.001). The relevance ratio of nervous system subjective symptoms such as hypomnesis, headache, swirl, sleep disorders, weak in noise contact group were higher than control group, the differences were statistically significant. The noise contact staffs were more anxiety, dysphoria, irritable than control group, there was no statistically significant difference about the depressed emotion between them. Prevalence rate of hypertension among noise contact group was25.4%, the control group was9.4%, the differences were statistically significant(χ1=6.178, P<0.05). in the meanwhile, the age above30years old were easy to get hypertension(χ1=6.178, P<0.05)and the rate were on the rise with the increase of noise intensity and work age. There was an obvious dose-response relationship (χ2趋势=13.857, P,<0.001; χ2趋势2=7.708, P2=0.005). the rate of electrocardiographic abnormality was23.3%in noise contact group and5.7%in control group, the differences were statistically significant(χ1=8.253, P=0.004) which attributed to the age between30and40years old(χ1=3.963, P<0.05). There was an obvious dose-response relationship between electrocardiographic abnormality and noise intensity and work age (χ2趋势,=8.792, P2=0.003;χ2趋势=4.278, P2=0.039). the rate of hearing loss was25.9%in noise contact group and5.7%in control group, the differences were statistically significant(χ1=0.084, P=0.001).The longer exposured in the noise environment, the more hearing loss (χ2趋势=9.965, P=0.002) Conclusion:Noise was one of the risk factors on working staff in wood-process industry and can easily cause the systematic disease of cardiovascular, auditory and nervous. The stronger noise intensity and the longer contact with noise, the higher suffer from the diseases of neurasthenic syndrome, high blood pressure, electrocardiographic abnormality and hearing loss. So it’s necessary to take precautionary measure on noise in the industry. Some issues may intensify as occupational hazard pre-assessment audit, investigation and acceptance inspection. The destination is to create a better work environment for workplace staff conforms to hygienic standard and sanitary standard. The department of health supervision must intensify the supervision power, to make the occupational hazard factors workable for detection, system evaluation, health rights and interests maintaining. We must execute to the letter of sanitary standard nationally. Sound insulation, noise elimination and new process would be adopted to reduce the noise and echo in workplace and also to reduce the contact dosage. At regular intervals we check the health status of the working staff, proper prevention and control is also needed for those abnormal. To intensify the safety education, protection products are ready for those working staff to reduce the occupational hazard of noise.
