| Objective:This paper regarding Acupuncture and Moxibustion on the Source as the research subject. By further studing its’author, edition and its collections of library to conclusion the author’s academic achievement. We hope to inherit and develop traditional medicine through learning its academic idea.Methods:In this paper, we use the method of traditional Chinese medical literature and excel work table, to further studing its’author, edition and its collections of library, the author’s academic achievement and examine to acupuncture point.Results:The author of Acupuncture and Moxibustion on the Source is Li xuechuan; There were informative citation in this ancient book, and this book collected a large number of document literature about acupuncture and moxibustion before Ching Dynasty; this paper summarized the academic characteristics and contribution of Acupuncture and Moxibustion on the Source.1. The author of the Acupuncture and Moxibustion on the Source is doctors in Ching Li xuechuan, this book was finished on the second year of Daoguang (the Christian era1822). Li xuechuan, zi san-yuan, hao dengwei shanren, the era of his birth and death were not quite clear. Li xuechuan was a native of Wu County (in Wu County, jiangsu province) and he was a famous acupuncture doctors.2. The Acupuncture and Moxibustion on the Source have three block-printed editions, they were:block-printed edition of Jiaqing, the Dihuacaotang edition on the second year of Daoguang renwu (1822), the Wu County Li jiashi edition on the tenth of Tongzhi xinmo (1871). They housed at The library of China’s traditional Chinese medicine academy of sciences, The library of Shanghai university of TCM, The library of Beijing university of Chinese medicine, The library of Medical College of Shanghai jiaotong university, The library of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. The library of Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The library of Liaoning university of Chinese Medicine, The library of Shanghai branch of Chinese medical association and The library of Norman Bethune University of Medical Science (NBUMS).3. The invaluable literature data was quoted in The Acupuncture and Moxibustion on the Source. The citation of this ancient book has an important value about distinguishing the academic chapter, examining the mirror source and course, and has provided great assistance and information to the compiling of the ancient literature.4. The scholarship characteristics on acupuncture of Li xuechuan were pay attention to the classic, most of the scripture and famous comment of The Yellow Emperor’s Internal of Medicine, and to his own opinions, explained the scripture in detail; in the diagnosis and treatment of disease, he attaches great importance to the differentiation of syndromes to get the point, flexible policing; attach great importance to acupuncture combined with medicine, flexible use of moxibustion, acupuncture and moxibustion as important as medicine, work together, medical comprehensive.5. Through the research of the number of fourteen meridian, the order of the acupuncture point, the location of acupuncture point. The conclusion: in terms of the number of acupuncture point, this book recorded361acupuncture points of fourteen meridians, and the number and location of acupuncture point is still in use today. And the acupuncture point increased in this book was on the basis of the earlier medical works; in terms of the order of the acupuncture point, and the order of the acupuncture point is still in use today; in terms of the location of acupuncture point, there are some changes in this book, although the location is slightly similar to the modern location of acupuncture point, but not quite right.Conclusion:Acupuncture and Moxibustion on the Source which was written by famous doctor Li Xuechuan in qing dynasty has rich content, brings many doctors’specialty together, the book has three kinds of photocopy which are all from qing dynasty. Nowadays people have published new classics book for later studies to provide the basis of research the acupuncture and moxibustion on every source.Acupuncture and Moxibustion on the Source retained the rich ancient literature, it has contribution to save traditional medicine book before qing dynasty, at the same time it provides a historical and art academic origin for the acupuncture academic chapter. Li Xuechuan focus on classics on acupuncture academic, he advocates huang di neijing scripture On his book, he add ancient famous annotation in the book, and with his own opinion to explore its righteousness. In clinical diagnosis and treatment of disease, he pay attention to find, syndrome differentiation treats flexible; Advocates both needles, medicine and moxibustion together, on that time it has achieved high level In the field of acupuncture medicine.He provide a reliable and orderly resources of examining and correcting the acupuncture acupoints. Acupuncture and Moxibustion on the Source collect361acupoints, and this number has been in use today. This book also has some change of acupuncture point position, but it is wether precision may need be research. |
