Objective:By the methods of epidemiological survey and bone densitometry to understanding the constitution distribution characteristics of peri-menopausal woman and the situation of BMD change, to explore the potential correlation between the BMD change and the constitution of TCM. On the one hand hoping to expound the the peri-menopausal woman osteoporosis theory;on the other hand to provide new ideas for osteoporosis prevention of TCM from the angle of regulating TCM constitution.Methods:By the cross-sectional survey method based on Shenzhen Baoan hospital of TCM, to collect epidemiological data via uniform questionnaire investigation (The influencing factor questionnaire of peri-menopausal woman BMD abnormal). According to include and exclude standards, screening the object of study to be use the constitution of TCM classification decision scale and Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry measurement instrument, to conduct the constitution of TCM test and BMD messurement. The last, Collecting and tidying up related data, and then Using SPSS19.0software for statistical analysis.Results:1. The student’s t teat of measurement data between the BMD abnormal team and the BMD normal team pointed out that there were significant difference in weight and constitutional index (p<0.05), but the age, height and age of menarche not(p>0.05).2. The chi-square test of enumeration data between the BMD abnormal team and the BMD normal team showed that education level (p<0.05), menopausal transtition stag(p<0.05),motion(p<0.05)and fracture(p<0.05) all have significant difference.3. The correlation analysis of categorical data between the BMD change of peri-menopausal woman and the constitution of TCM prompted that there were relevance with them.4. TCM constitution for peri-menopausal woman BMD abnormal (T<1SD) of single-factor non-conditional Logistic analysis revealed that normal constitution, yang deficiency constitution, yin deficiency constitution and blood-stasis constitution of their corresponding p values less than0.05, the OR for normal constitution0.239, regression coefficient-1.432; the OR for yang deficiency constitution3.812, regression coefficient1.338; the OR for yin deficiency constitution3.600, regression coefficient1.281; the OR for blood-stasis constitution3.294, regression coefficient1.192.5. TCM constitution for peri-menopausal woman BMD abnormal (T<1SD) of multi-factor non-conditional Logistic regression equation shows that: Logit (p)=1n(p/1-p)=-0.796+1.795X3(yang deficiency constitution)+1.895X4(yin deficiency constitution)+1.826X7(blood-stasis constitution).Conclusion:The relationship between the BMD abnormal of peri-menopausal woman and the constitution of TCM has been confirmed. It was fitrated that yang deficiency constitution, yin deficiency constitution, blood stasis constitution were regarded as risk factors of peri-menopausal woman BMD abnormal; normal constitution was found to be a protective factor.
