Objective To understand the current situation of nutritional knowledge, diet attitude and behavior of pupil in some counties of Yanbian, evaluate the effects of nutrition classroom for children’s nutritional knowledge, diet attitude and behavior.Method The study used the method combined convenience sampling with cluster sampling to take sample, collected two schools of fourth grade students in Wangqing and Antu area that with Similar Education level and background as the research object, were randomly assigned to’the experimental group and control group. First understand the nutrition knowledge, diet attitude and behavior status, then implementation of nutritional intervention for intervention group. Research tool was development by the Miyong Kim in JohnsHopkinsUniversity, was translation by Li Chunyu. Data cleaning and analysis use SPSS for Windows17.0.Result(1) Status of nutrition knowledge, diet attitude and behavior:in nutrition knowledge, the score of nutrition knowledge on each group before the intervention was:control group9.43±1.82, intervention group9.63±1.776, there was no statistically significant difference between two groups(t=-1.027, P>0.05); in diet attitude, the score of diet attitude on each group before the intervention was:control group14.58±2.89, intervention group14.71±2.81, there was no statistically significant difference between two groups(t=-0.429, P>0.05); in dietary behavior, the score of dietary behavior on each group before the intervention was:control group18.99±1.883, intervention group18.96±1.67, there was no statistically significant difference between two groups(t=-0.163, P<0.05).(2) Homogeneity analysis:No difference was found in the Gender, whether lived with their mother, residential morphology, take what to go to school, how do you spend after school, the frequency of eating alone, who was responsible for cooking at home between children in the intervention group and children in the control group.(3) Intervention effect evaluation:in nutrition knowledge, after the intervention, awareness rate of individual items are improve obviously in intervention group, the control group and intervention group nutrition knowledge scores were improved, but the intervention group increase more significantly; in diet attitude, after the intervention, improvement rate of individual items are improve obviously in intervention group, but there was no statistically significant difference between two groups; in dietary behavior, after the intervention, improvement rate of individual items are improve obviously in intervention group, the control group and intervention group dietary behavior scores were improved, but the intervention group increase more significantly.Conclusion(1) Students’nutrition knowledge, attitude and behavior score is not ideal, schools to implement nutrition education, improve the nutritional status.(2) Students master the knowledge about nutrition is not comprehensive, so we strong need to nutrition education.(3) After the intervention, the nutrition knowledge, diet attitude and dietary behavior scores were improved in intervention group. The research shows that nutrition education can enrich students’ nutrition knowledge, Reduce the bad diet and improve the quality of life.(4) The related department of primary schools should integrate the nutrition education into the regular teaching program. Can learning from foreign experience, Development on teaching materials, ensuring the further development of school health care.
