ObjectiveTo explore the therapeutic effects of The small fronto-tempory decompressive craniectomyhematoma and traditional large fronto-tempory decompressive craniectomy hematoma in elderlypatients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage in the basal ganglion part of the brain complicatedcerebral hernia, for raising the surgical treatment level further and improving prognosis for thesepatients, providing the clinical guidance for these patients.Methods62patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage, admitted to our hospital from January2011to January2012,were randomly divided into experimental group(treated with smallfronto-tempory decompressive craniectomy hematoma,n=31)and control group(treated withtraditional large fronto-tempory decompressive craniectomy hematoma,n=31)。The case fatality,re-bleeding and complication and Glasgo outcome scale cores after3months treatment were analyzedand compared between the2groups.Resultsthe case fatality rate Was12.9%and19.4%in the experimental group and control group, respectively, without significant differences(p>0.05);the rate of re-bleeding was9.7%and12.9%in the2groups without significant difference(p>0.05).The incidence of complications was19.4%and48.4%in the2groups with significant differences(p<0.05);after treated12weeks,the scores of Glasgow outcome scale in the experimental group were superior to those in the controlgroup(p<0.05).ConclusionAs compared with large fronto-tempory decompressive craniectomy hematoma, the small fronto-tempory decompressive craniectomy hematoma decrease the rate of case fatality andcomplications.and improve the prognosis in elderly patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage in the basal ganglion part of the brain complicated cerebral hernia....
