Objective:To investigate the three cytokines in patients with acute coronary syndrom and healthy people. Evaluate whether OPG, Apelin, and Ghrelin are associated with the Gensini score of coronary artery disease on patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS).Methods:The selected subjects were divided into four groups, of which13cases of normal angiography as the control group,28cases with unstable angina (UA),11cases with non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) and36cases with ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEM). The level of above mentioned cytokines in serum were detected with enzyme linked immunosorbent assay way, Gensini Scores was used to assess the severity of coronary atery disease. Then analyze the association between the three cytokines and the Gensini score.Results:(1)The level of the OPG in patients with STEMI was higher than the patient in group of NSTEM. The level of the OPG in patients with NSTEMI was higher than the patient in group of UA. The level of the OPG in patients with UA was higher than the patient in the control group. There was significant statistically differences among the four groups (P<0.001). Correlation test showed that level of OPG was direct correlative with Gensini score (r=0.821, Z’<0.001).(2) The level of the Ghrelin in patients with STEMI was lower than the patient in group of NSTEMI. The level of the Ghrelin in patients with NSTEMI was lower than the patient in group of UA. The level of the Ghrelin in patients with UA was lower than the patient in the control group. There was significant statistically differences among the four groups (P<0.001). Correlation test showed that level of OPG was negatively related to Gensini score(r=-0.75,P<0.05)(3)The level of the Apelin in patients with STEMI was lower than the patient in group of NSTEMI. The level of the Apelin in patients with NSTEMI was lower than the patient in group of UA. The level of the Apelin in patients with UA was lower than the patient in the control group. There was significant statistically differences among the four groups (P<0.001). Correlation test showed that level of Apelin was negatively related to Gensini score (r=-0.426, P<0.001).Conclusions:The level of OPG, Ghrelin and Apelin might involve in the pathogenesis of acute coronary syndrome, moreover, the activity of OPG was direct correlative with the severity of the coronary artery lesions. On the contrary, the activity of Ghrelin and Alpelin were negatively correlated with that.
