Aim:For the different types of ACS and jude the severity of coronary lesion to provide certain referent value,we explore the levels of plasma Apelin in different types of acute coronary syndrome(ACS) and are associated with the Gensin score of coronary artery disease in the patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS).Methods:The research objects included 81 inpatients who were hospitalized because of chest pain or chest discomfort and underwent diagnostic coronary angiography from January 2015 to October 2015 in Department of Cardiovascular Diseases of the second affiliated hospital. According to the results of coronary angiography and various clinical indicators, they were divided into non-CHD control group with 20 patients and Acute Coronary Syndrome(ACS) group with 61 patients, The Acute Coronary Syndrome group was also divided into three groups, including 22 cases ofunstable angina(UAP) and 11 cases of non-st elevation myocardial infarction(NSTEMI) and 28 cases ST elevation myocardial infarction patients. Plasma Apelin levels were measured by Enzyme-Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay(ELISA). According to coronary lesion count shown in coronary angiography and international general Judkins method,The relationship of Apelin with the severity of coronary artery was studied in accordance with the Gensini scoring criteria for coronary lesion score,Analysis the correlation between Apelin and Gensini score.Results:1.Plasma Apelin levels were significantly lower in ACS than non-CHD group(P<0.05). The levels of the Apelin in patients with STEMI was lower than those in group of NSTEMI,and the levels of the apelin in patients with NSTEMI were significantly low compared with those in group of UAP. Meanwhile, there were significant difference among the three groups(P<0.05).2.The levels of plasma Apelin were negative correlated with Gensini score.(r=-0.623,P<0.05).Conclusions:The levels of plasma Apelin were significant difference and negative correlated with Gensini score in patients with ACS and reflect the severity of coronary artery lesions.
