Blood Rheology Detection And Clinical Significance For Patients With Gastric Cancer

【Objective】Through carries on the hemorheology detection in patients with gastriccancer, to investigate the clinical significance in gastric cancer treatment andprognostic evaluation.【Methods】 Qinghai province Xining region，Qinghai University Hospital fortreatment from January2011to December2012parallel surgical treatment of60patients with gastric cancer as the case group were randomly selected, depending onthe patient’s pathology report confirmed the study group patients were patients withgastric cancer,and20females,40males, aged33-72(54.2±5.8years).30patientswith age the health of the physical examination is normal as the control group, thecontrol group and10females,20males, aged35-78(53.6±3.9years).The two groupsin age, gender was no difference (P>0.05), comparable.Determination of the viscosityof the whole blood of60patients with gastric cancer and30healthy adults (low shearviscosity and high shear viscosity), plasma viscosity, erythrocyte sedimentation rate,hematocrit, erythrocyte rigidity index, erythrocyte aggregation index, erythrocytedeformation index,Then According to the AJCC guide for2010the seventh edition ofTNM staging gastric cancer group to analyze the determination of each hemorheologychanges in the staging of gastric cancer each significance.【Result】1. The cases of whole blood viscosity (low shear viscosity, high shearviscosity), plasma viscosity, blood sedimentation, erythrocyte aggregation index weresignificantly higher than healthy group (P <0.05).2. Indexes in the case group, phase I, phase II and phase III-IV patients’ wholeblood low shear viscosity, erythrocyte aggregation index and health groups havesignificant difference (P <0.05), significantly higher than healthy group, there was nosignificant difference between case group.The measurements with the progress of thedisease period also corresponding changes: whole blood low shear viscosity, high shear viscosity, plasma viscosity, blood sedimentation, erythrocyte aggregation indexincreased gradually.【Conclusion】Index of blood rheology in patients with gastric cancer compared withhealthy adults there are obvious characteristics,the performance of the whole blood isa high viscosity, high stagnation state,and as the illness progressing,it is more apparent.Dynamic monitoring the related indexes of blood rheology in patients with gastriccancer, it can diagnose the illness changing timely through dynamic monitoring therelated indexes of blood rheology in patients with gastric cancer,and has importantsignificance for disease treatment and prognosis judgment.
