| ObjectiveTo investigate the difference expression of lnterleukin-4（IL-4） andmatrixmetalloproeinase-9（MMP-9）gene intissue of the chronic tonsillitis group andnormal tonsil group，and then do relative analysis and to investigate its clinicalsignificance in the patients.MethodsCollecting45case of chronic tonsillitis and40case of normal tonsil as control groupin Affiliated Hospital Of Qing Hai University, and the chronic tonsillitis group,themale22, aged from4to12, the control group,19cases of male, aged from3to10years old. RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of samples of IL-4,MMP-9mRNA gene, application of statistical software to analysis the correspondingstatistical data.ResultIL-4and MMP-9were all expressed in the tissue of chronic tonsillitis and tonsillarphysiological hypertrophy group, semi-quantitative expression level of IL-4ininflammatory tonsillar tissue in the measurement was (1.094±0.264) andsignificantly higher than that of the control group (0.634±0.148), semi-quantitativeexpression level of MMP-9in inflammatory tonsil tissues measurements as (0.851±0.239) was significantly higher than that of the control group (0.547±0.122)(P<0.05).ConclusionCompared with children’s physiological hypertrophy tonsil tissue,the expression ininflammatory tonsil tissue of IL-4and MMP-9were increased significantly, whichmay play an important role in changing the course of chronic tonsillitis.Prompt intervention IL-4, MMP-9may be is an effective way of treating chronic tonsillitis. |
