Objective: Application of semi quantitative polymerase chain reaction restrictionfragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method To investigate the association of VDRgene polymorphisms to Lumbar degenerative disc disease(LDDD) with Hannationality.inFujian; combined with lumbar degenerative disc disease (LDDD) clinical andMRI manifestations of the relationship between VDR gene polymorphism and LDDD.Methods: Venous blood samples and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) from78patients with LDDD and79health individuals were collected. genomic DNA of thissamples was Extracted, determination of the case group with semi quantitative(PCR-RFLP)method and the control of VDR TaqI enzyme group were cut polymorphism;according to Schneiderman classification method to determine the degree of lumbarintervertebral disc degeneration of each individual according to the signal differencebetween MRI display, divided into non LDDD, mild LDDD, moderate LDDD and severeLDDD group four. Analysis of genotype, cases in the control groups allele frequencydistribution; analysis of genotype distribution and allele frequency relationship, classificationand lumbar disc degeneration MRI.Result:1.Distribution of cases in group VDR TaqI restriction enzyme site allele frequency: T98.1%, t1.9%. The control group in the distribution of TaqI alleles of T90.05%,t9.5%. In the case group VDR TaqI T allele carriers was higher than that of control group. The difference was significant.2In the MRI group, the VDR TaqI gene of type TT related with lumbar discdegeneration, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:VDR gene TaqI polymorphisms associated with LDDD in Han nationalityin Fujian...
