0bjective To study the expression of SIRT1and FOXM1gene in the pathologicalscars and to investigate its role and its probable mechanism in the pathogenesis ofabnormal scar. Methods Quantitative real-time PCR and Western Blot was performed to detect theexpression and distribution of mRNA and protein of SIRT1and FOXM1innormal skin(10cases),normal scar(10cases),and pathological scar(10cases),statistics was used to analyze the datas. Results The expression of SIRT1mRNA and protein in the normal skin (10cases),normal scar(10cases), pathological scar (10cases),were1.0、1.187982±0.082916、2.402178±0.178598;0.498614±0.056342、0.534159±0.044509、0.976829±0.145736。The expression of FOXM1mRNA and protein in the normal skin (10cases),normal scar(10cases), pathological scar (10cases),were1.0、1.196429±0.086786、2.447249±0.128875;0.469935±0.089373、0.552653±0.078293、0.915367±0.114097。The expression of SIRT1and FOXM1mRNA in pathologic scar were significantlyhigher than that in normal skin, normal scar (P<0.01); The expression of SIRT1andFOXM1protein in pathologic scar were all remarkably significant in comparisonwith normal skin and normal scar (P<0.05).Conclusion The result indicated that the expression of SIRT1and FOXM1wasincreased in pathological scar.Therefore,SIRT1and FOXM1overexpressionmay play an important role in the proliferation of fibroblasts and in the pathogenesisof pathological scar....
