Objective:Compare the clinicopathological characteristics of colorectal cancer in differentanatomic subsite, and provide a reference for clinical diagnosis, treatment andprognosis evaluation. Methods:Retrospectively collected the clinicopathological charateristics data of1017consecutive colorectal cancer patients with complete data in the first affiliated hospitalof fujian medical university betweenJanuary2010and december2012,analyzing andcomparing clinicopathological characteristics of colorectal cancer indifferentanatomic subsite.Results:1.the proportion of rectal cancer patients in full colorectal cancer is48.97%,theproportion of proximal cancer and distal cancer is closed.2.onset age, chief complaints, preoperative hemoglobin level and The pathologicaltissue types, histopathological grading, gross classification, depth of invasion andlymph node compliance rate and lymph node metastasis rate was significantlyassociated with anatomical location of the tumor (p <0.05).3.there was no significant difference in male-to-female rate, preoperative serumCEA,pTNM stage, vessel and perineural invasion.(p>0.05)Conclusions:1.the proportion of rectal cancer is declining, almost have a equal proportionwith colon cancer. And the proportion of the proximal and distal colon cancer issimilar. It`s need to pay more attention to the early diagnosis and treatment of coloncancer, especially for proximal colon cancer. 2.the most common chief complaint of proximal colon cancer is abdominaldiscomfort;and change of habit and stool consistency is the most common chiefcomplaint of distal colon cancer and rectal cancer.3.lymph node compliance rate in rectal cancer operation is low, except thestandard operation undertaken, also should strengthen cooperation with pathologistand increase lymph node retrieve number.
