Objective To investigate the association of endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eNOS)gene polymorphisms with cerebral hemorrhage in Han population andTibetan population in high altitude. Methods We characterized and studied13Tibetan patients and34Han with ICH,as well as24matched control subjects Tibetan and Han as a control group, the T-786C(rs2070744)、G894T (rs1799983) polymorphisms were detected by using PCR-RFLPand2%agarose gel electrophoresis. Results (1)Hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage group and normal control groupG894T eNOS gene genotype GG for wild pure and type, TG for hybrid mutant, TT ishomozygous mutant, By Fisher’s exact probability method inspection each genotyperatio, that between tibetans and han population cerebral hemorrhage, between tibetansand han normal control group, between the cerebral hemorrhage group and normalcontrol group In tibetans population, between the cerebral hemorrhage group andnormal control group In han population. P=0.432, there was no statisticallysignificant difference; The allele G, T constituent ratio,x~2=4.586,P=0.205, there wasno statistically significant difference too.(2)ENOS gene T-786-c for wildhomozygous genotype TT type, TC is heterozygous mutation type, CC tohomozygous mutant, By Fisher’s exact probability method inspection each genotyperatio, that between tibetans and han population cerebral hemorrhage, between tibetansand han normal control group, between the cerebral hemorrhage group and normalcontrol group In tibetans population, between the cerebral hemorrhage group andnormal control group In han populationthe P=0.091, there was no statistically significant difference. Allele T, C constituent ratio, x~2=11.517, P=0.009, withstatistical significance.By chi-square test, Tibetan cerebral hemorrhage group andcontrol group in constituent ratios of allele differences have statistical significance. P<0.05. OR=3.385, the T allele in Tibetan population risk factors for cerebralhemorrhage. Conclusions (1)The G894T of endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eNOS)genewith cerebral hemorrhage was not associated with Han population and Tibetanpopulation in high altitude.(2) In high altitude,Tibetan population hypertensivecerebral hemorrhage associated with eNOS gene T-786-c, the allele T risk factorsfor cerebral hemorrhage.
