Objective To investigate the etiology, predisposition, treatments and effect oferythroderma.Method Clinical data of96patients with erythroderma during10years inGeneral Hospital of Ningxia Medical University were analyzed retrospectively.Result There were96patients with erythroderma, which was accounted for2.03%oftotal hospitalization in department of dermatology.75were male and21were female, and themale-female ration was3.57:1. among them the youngest is11years old, the oldest is88yearsold, with an average age of52.69士17.60years.96patients with secondary to the originalskin disease were72cases(75%), including original disease psoriasis in49case(s68.06%), inaccordance with the rest pathogenic factors for drug allergy, unexplained11patient(s11.46%),2cases(2.08%) of tumor; in patients with psoriasis secondary to the incentive to useglucocorticoid most irregular13cases, followed by external use folk prescription drugs andirritant9cases(12.5%). The treatment: Of the96cases,cure rate is47.92%(46cases),significant effect rate is33%(32cases), effect rate is10.41%(10cases), and8.33%(8cases) had no effect, the total effect rate is80.21%(7796).Conlusion The old patients are identified as the the majority of the patients withErythroderma. Males than females, the incidence rate ratio between men and women1:2-1:4,Erythroderma is mostly caused by the exacerbation of the previous skin diseases, among thempatients with psoriasis is the major one. Inappropriate treatment with glucocorticoid is the major predisposition.and the caused by drug allergy shows a rising trend in recent years; Thepathogenesis of erythroderma is unclear, Currently, it is believed that the condition issecondary to an intricate interaction of cytokines and cellular adhesion molecules; there isno there is no effective treatment for it.
