Preparation And Application Of Immonium Type Dehydrating Agents And Deprotection Of Acyl Group For Amides With Thionyl Chloride

This Dissertation includes two parts,on the one hand,a new preparation method ofImmonium Type dehydrating agents:N,N-Dimethyl-N-phenoxymethyleneiminium Chloride(DMPhOMIC) is studied and the preliminary application in the conversion of amides intonitriles were reported.It was a new and convenient method,for it has the advantages of simpleoperation and inexpensive.On the other hand,deprotection of amino group with thionychloride were carried out,which has the features of short reaction time,low cost and easypurification. Satisfactory yields were obtained. This thesis consists of three chapters:Chapter1: PrefaceChapter2: Study on the preparation of Immonium Type dehydrating agents:N, N-Dime-thyl-N-phenoxymethyleneiminium Chloride (DMPhOMIC) and Amides were converted intocorresponding nitriles by using DMPhOMIC as dehydrating agent. The results showed thatthe method has features of lower cost, easy purification,higher yield and ease of work-up.Chapter3: A new method is reported:The protection group for amino of amides wasremoved by thionyl chloride via chloration and hydrolysis with dichloromethane as solventand triethanolamine as catalyst. The method has the feature of inexpensive, simpleoperation,short reaction time,easy purification and mild.
