Objectives To delineate current situation of chronic hepatitis C patient’s quality of life(QOL), to clarify the relevant factors,and analysis the main factor on QOL of patients with chronic hepatitis C which will contribute to make out reasonable nursing measures to promote the QOLMethods There were descriptive research of non-experimental study in the study. With the method of purposive sampling,308 CHC patients were chosen in this study that they were from four first-class hospital outpatient servic of Shanghai Jinan and Wuhan City. The questionnaire was divided three parts:1) the form of General demographic characteristics; 2) the Mos 36 item-Short Form Health Survey; 3) Chronic Liver Disease Questionnaire. The data was analyzed with descriptive statistical mathods, rate, ratio, t-test, One Way-ANOVA and logistic.Results Male compared famale to the QOL of CHC that there were significant difference between the two sets of data (p<0.05) which in physical functioning, role physicla, bodily pain, general health, social functioning, role emotional of SF-36; And there were significant difference between the two sets of data (p<0.05) which in fatigue, systemic symptoms,activity,emotional function,worry of CLDQ. The contry compared whith the city, there were significant difference between the two sets of data (p<0.05)which in role physicla of SF-36.And there were not significant difference between the two sets of data (p>0.05). The QOL among different age group patients had a statistical significance (p<0.05) in the aspect of body health (PF), body role (RP), physical pain (BP), overall health (GH) and social function (SF) dimension scores in SF-36 scale and which in the aspect of systemic symptoms, activity, emotional function, worry of CLDQ. The QOL among different culture degree had a statistical significance (p<0.05) which in vitality of SF-36. And which in significant difference (p<0.05) which in systemic symptoms,activity of CLDQ. Age, gender, exact duration, cultural degree, infection approach, geographical, BMI factors was divided into two classification or level variables as independent variables into Logistic analysis. There were sex, age, region, culture degree and course disease influenced QOL.Conclusion The QOL of CHC patient have a low level. It suggests that nurses also need to pay attention to the patients of mental health, Nures not only have to improve the patients’ physical health,but also have to care their mental health.In order to enhance the quality of patients’ life gradually,we can strengthen their psychological counseling and health knowledge.
