Research On Planting Design, Analysis And Evaluation Based On Digital Tool

Designing with plants is an important part of landscape architecture. Based on digital technology to establish common zonal plant database, using the universal software-Excel as the technology foundation, and according to numerous principles, strategies and methods in the process of planting, this study could implement not only the digital planting design but also the optimization and evaluation of the scheme.Starting with the basic technology of searching and selection, the study accomplishes searching and selecting plant in the light of its characters such as ecological habits, ornamental (appreciation), etc., by the means of creating the searcher and filter. And then, taking the otherness of planting design in different site features as a starting point for evaluation, we create the plant configuration analyzer, florescence analyzer, specification and cost analyzer, etc. using Excel. The concrete method is editing functional relations and applying the analysis of statistics and charts in Excel. Based on the above, the study constitutes a digital planting design system, which could analyze the ratio of plant type and layer, the seasonal variation of flowering, and the economic indicators of budget. Finally, we establish a complete analysis and evaluation system aiming at design scheme in order to verify and optimize the scheme design of conventional planting.
