Investigation Prevention And Control Of Reason Reducing Laying Rates Of Hens In Changchun City

Commodity laying rate has been the most important and concern issue of laying hens industry, the level of laying rate is also directly determine the income level and the development of laying hens industry. Jilin Province is one of the larger breeding hens region in china, while Changchun area(Dehui, Nong’an, Yushu, Jiutai, Shuangyang)have a large mount feeding. In recent years, layer breeding in Changchun area often appear abnormal decrease of laying rate due to disease factors, for which the main reason is not clear. To clear the major diseases caused rate decline of laying hens in Changchun area and formulate appropriate control measures, while avoiding disadvantages in favor of laying hens, increasing egg production rate and gaining more economic benefits.The study investigated layer farms or households(feeding layers open production) in Changchun area(Dehui, Nong’an, Yushu, Jiutai, Shuangyang) and animal hospital during 2013 to 2015 years old, add up to 158 households. The survey mainly includes the feeding and management conditions、disease incidence and laying. The results show that: the problemof rate decline of laying hens is more common in the Changchun area, and more performance for the abnormal decline in egg production, the main reason for the disease factor. While the samples from diseased layer flocks which egg production drop were collected. 12 samples of suspected Newcastle, 25 samples of suspected Escherichia coli, 15 samples of suspected chronic respiratory disease,30 samples of suspected coccidian and 10 samples of suspected low pathogenic avian influenza were collected. Through preliminary clinical diagnosis and laboratory diagnosis, the major diseases caused egg production rate abnormal decline of laying hens in Changchun area are Escherichia coli disease, atypical Newcastle,low pathogenic avian influenza,chronic respiratory disease and coccidia infection.For the situation, The study formulate appropriate comprehensive control measures and specific control measures, while provide references for the protection of healthy and stable development of laying hens industry in Changchun.
