Determination Of Production Performance And Studies Of The Profile Of Growth And Laying Rate In FENGDA-1 Layer

FENGDA-1 Layer is a three-line cross cultivated by Anhui Agricultural University and Rongda Poultry Co.,Ltd.,and was identified as a national new breed of layer in 2016 by the National Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources Committee.In order to study the production performance of FENGDA-1,45 batches were selected,and the 4-tier cage system was adopted.The production performance of FENGDA-1 layer were:age at first egg is 140-150 days,egg number in 72 weeks of age is 270-280,the average egg weight is 50-51g,FCR is 2.38-2.42:1;40W Egg quality were:eggshell strength is 3.5-3.6 Kg/cm²,and the Haugh unit is 75-82.In order to understand the profile of growth on FENGDA-1,three kinds of nonlinear growth curve models such as Logistic,Gompertz and Bertallanff were used to fit the growth curve,The results showed that the Gompertz model,Y=1578.859*EXP（-3.604*EXP（-0.156t））,could fit the growth curve best（R2=0.999）,and the fitted weight was1578.859g,the critical age was 8.218W,the critical body weight was 589.830g.In order to explore the profile of laying rate on FENGDA-1,three Egg laying curves models（Yang-Ning,Wood,McMillan）were used to fit the laying rate curve.McMillan model,y_t=125.661(1-e^{-0.347（t-18.621）})e^-0.010t,could fit the growth curve best（R2=0.992）.According to the model the predicted laying rate and egg number in 72 weeks of age are60.99%and 277.71,respectively.
