The silkworm industry plays an important role in China’s economy, especially the national implementation of "sericulture moving from east to west" strategy since the mulberry planting area of the western region of our country is increasing year by year. However, research on automatic picking mulberry leaves in our country is very few, still stay in the stage of mulberry leaves plucking hand picking. Result in the silkworm production process. Picking the time and the cost are high in the rapid development of silkworm mulberry leaf, mulberry leaf picking today, has already become the bottleneck restricting its development. In recent years, although our country appeared a few of mulberry leaves plucking the patent, but the majority still rely on hand picked, not to change the status quo of China mulberry leaf picking. In order to realize the automatic picking mulberry leaves, the research and design of the reciprocating mulberry leaf picking machine. This paper mainly off several aspects:(1) To the mulberry field investigation, understand the specific situation and the growth of mulberry cultivation farm in the method.
