Sericulture is an important industry in China.It has been developed as a characteristic and advantageous key industry in Guangxi Province and has made great contributions to increasing farmers’ income and getting rid of poverty.With the continuous expansion of the silkworm industry in recent years,the demand for mulberry leaves is also increasing.However,under the background of agricultural mechanization,mulberry leaf picking in China is still done mainly by manual,and mechanical automatic picking has not been realized.Therefore,high labor costs and low efficiency have become important factors restricting the development of the silkworm industry.Considering the research status of the mulberry leaf picking machines at home and abroad,in this paper,the author designs and simulates the automatic picking device and control system of the new mulberry leaf picking machine by using advanced control technology,human-computer interaction technology,sensor technology and Internet of things technology.At the same time,to make up for the shortcomings of the electric control box in practical application,a safety auxiliary system is designed to improve the reliability of the equipment.The main completed work of this paper includes the following four aspects:(1)A new automatic picking device of mulberry leaf picking machine was designedThrough the field investigation in the mulberry garden,the growth characteristics of mulberry and the impact of different picking methods on the yield of mulberry leaves are analyzed,and a set of automatic picking devices are designed,mainly including picking device,conveying device and collection device,which can accurately complete all the action tasks issued by the control system of mulberry leaf picking machine.(2)The automatic picking control system was designed and manufacturedThe control system of the new mulberry leaf picking machine is designed and manufactured based on FX3U-16 MT PLC.In this control system,PLC collects,analyzes,and calculates the data of each sensor,it realizes the fully automatic control of the executive device of the picking machine.An adaptive adjustment algorithm for the speed of the picking tool is designed to ensure that the picking device can perform the picking task efficiently,stably,and safely in the automatic control mode.(3)A human-computer interaction system was designed and manufacturedAccording to the function design of the new mulberry leaf picking machine,a humancomputer interaction system is designed for the PLC control system based on the Mitsubishi GOT2000 touch screen.The system realizes the functions of hand/automatic control,picking data display,equipment status monitoring,parameter setting,alarm prompt and so on.It simplifies the operation process of the equipment and saves a lot of physical space for the control system.(4)A safety assistant system was designed and manufacturedGiven the high temperature and difficult voltage measurement of precision instruments in the electric control box,the safety auxiliary system is developed to realize the real-time monitoring of the environmental temperature of the electric control box and the voltage of power supply equipment.The system can adjust the operating power of the cooling fan according to the dynamic state of the environmental temperature.When the temperature or voltage data exceeds the safety threshold,the system will send a corresponding alarm,and relevant data will be displayed on multiple platforms at the same time.The auxiliary system can effectively reduce the potential safety hazards of the equipment and improve the safety,stability and ease of use of the control system of the new mulberry leaf picking machine.
