Avian influenza(AI),caused by Avian influenza virus(AIV), is an infectious disease in poultry. Newcastle disease (ND), caused by Newcastle disease virus (NDV), is also one of the most serious infectious diseases in poultry. Both of the two diseases have occurred many times, not only harmful to the poultry industry, but also infect humans. Avian influenza and Newcastle disease is the most serious hazards poultry diseases. Whenever the outbreak of the disease often causes huge economic losses. Research on the two diseases has been a hot spot and more deeply. The study were conducted from 2013 to 2015, we investigate the two diseases in Sanjiang Plain and analyze the case of mixed infection.Wild birds are the natural hosts of AIV and NDV, wild migratory birds have migration habites that they can carry the virus to other parts of the country cause outbreak of epidemics and disease transmission. Therefore, epidemiological surveillance of wild birds to understanding the distribution and prevention of the disease is very important. In this study, we monitoring the AIV and NDV in Sanjiang Plain for 2 years. A total of 1770 samples were collected from wild birds, there are 15 samples showed AIV positive, the total separation of AIV was 0.85%,there are 4 samples showed NDV positive, the total separation rates of NDV was 0.23%. The separation rates of the AIV and NDV are low. H16N3 subtype was the advantage subtype of Sanjiang Plain. In the epidemiological surveillance of the two viruses, the cases of mixed infection of the two A viruses are more common. At present, the ecological significance is unclear of the two kinds of virus on the effects of mixed infection of poultry. Therefore, to study wild birds when mixed infection in vivo distribution, we analyzed the 12 wild ducks that were collected from Xianghai in October 2011, the result of the PCR identification of AIV and NDV both were positive. In this research we adopted the Real-time qPCR and make use of the ecology niche to analyze samples. To explore the problems of the two viruses in vivo distribution and ecology niche. It revealed a law of the vivo distribution about the two viruses in mixed infection and ecological niche. The niche of AIV is larger than NDV when mixed infection, AIV and NDV mainly in the respiratory system.
