Avian influenza(AI) and Newcastle disease(ND) was the OIE regulations of two kinds of A kind of animal infectious diseases. The existing research showed that a variety of migratory birds had infected and carried the avian influenza virus(AIV)and Newcastle disease virus(NDV), and may be the source of two kinds of disease.Therefore, epidemic disease detection and risk assessment in migratory birds outbreak had become a worldwide topic of mutual interest. Qinggeda Wetland Nature Reserve was mainly habitat of wild bird in migration way in xinjiang. 200000 wild migratory birds staied in Qinggeda Wetland Nature Reserve every year.Whether or migratory birds had infected and carried NDV and AIV, it has been unclear.Therefore this study collected 940 samples of 17 species of birds, including481 serum samples, 214 swallow- cloacal swabs samples, 208 stool samples, 37 tissue samples in August 2013 to April 2015 in Qinggeda Wetland Nature Reserve in Xinjiang.The pathogen nucleic acid of NDV and AIV was detected by RT-PCR test in swallow- cloacal swabs, tissue, and stool samples. The antibodies of NDV and AIV was detected by hemagglutination(HA) and hemagglutination inhibition(HI)test in the serum samples.The construction of wildlife disease detection system had been researched in Qinggeda Wetland Nature Reserve in Xinjiang.This study provide a scientific basis for risk assessment of the regional epidemic disease spreading by wild birds. The results were as follows:1. All samples of AIV PCR detection and AIV detection of serum antibody HI were negative. The results showed that tested birds didn,t carry the H5 and H7 AIV,nor AIV infection.2. All samples were negative in PCR detection.Nine kinds of birds was different proportions of positive in HI test, in which red linen duck, green wings, mallard ducks, bare arms duck, duck diving duck red mouth, red head dive, supercilious diving duck, duck coot chicken, sparrow antibody positive rate were 41.9%, 48.7%,54.0%, 35.3%, 35.7%, 27.3%, 35.6%, 10.7%, 35.6%.Results showed that the birds were not carrying NDV, but part of the bird was infected by NDV, the birds could be the potential risk of infection and transmission ND.3. The survey showed that there were wildlife disease detection system perfect,all kinds of test plan and the rules and regulations sane, monitoring and control information report in a timely manner, wetland law enforcement strict, multi-sectoral defense mechanism,in Qinggeda Wetland Nature Reserve in Xinjiang. These measures ensured Migratory birds epidemic never happen in recent years and around the breeding of production safety.
