| Fusarium toxins are secondary metabolites mainly produced by Fusarium graminearum, which cause Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) in wheat. The contaminant of Fusarium toxins in wheat, such as deoxynivalenol(DON), fumonisin (FB), T-2 Toxin and zearalenone (ZEN). In this study, variation of Fusarium toxin levels during wheat storage and detoxification methods were studied:1.The variation of Fusarium toxin levels during wheat storageLC-MS was used to detect the changes of Fusarium mycotoxins (DON and NIV) content in this experiment. Wheat was stored for 70 to 170 days in thermostatic chamber (25℃), basement, refrigerator compartment (4℃) and storage room, separately with the moisture content of 11.5% and 12.5%Under sealed conditions three different kinds of grains moisture content storged in four kinds of storge rooms DON and NIV levels showed no significant change in 70 and 170 days experiments.2. Detoxicification of Fusarium toxinsThis study focused on could effectively reduce the content of toxin detoxicfiaction methods of fusarium toxins, including rinsing, heating, ozone (O3) treatment, UV radiation, removement of disease grains and toxin adsorption. The results showed that adsorption and removement of disease grains were two of the best methods. The effeciency of DON removement by ozone treatment and ultraviolet irradiation were lower than 15%. Although 170℃ heating can reduce DON capacity, wheat became black and inedible. What else, rinsing can reduced about 25% of DON.At the same time we focused on the optimum adsorption conditions and the optimum adsorption formula. The optimum adsorption formula is 50% Crab mushroom+50% EC1118. The optimum adsorption conditions were 25℃, pH6.0, toxin concentration at 1.5mg/kg,1% of adsorbent and reaction for one hour, DON and ZEN toxin adsorption can be up to 35%. |
