Effect Of Compound Anesthsia By Rompun With Ketamine In Dogs

Ketamine is one derivative of Cyclohexanone, It has the advantage of lower price, larger security range, shorter nucleation time and shorter recovery time. At the same time, ketamine side effects are muscle strain, even twitch. Rompun, Being used in animals’ligature. The advantage of rompun is lower price, larger security range, lower toxicity, better muscle relaxation effect and rapid metabolism, has been applied abroad. Rompun side effects are obvious inhibition of body temperature, can caused vomiting. Balanced anesthesia is the best combination of the two drugs, thereby reducing its side effects, enhance efficacy, and reduce the dosage of medication. The experiment combined the two anesthetics, were intramuscular injected. Learned by observing the biology reflection, sedative effect, analgesic effect, muscle relaxation effect and physiological indicators, to evaluate the combined anesthesia of rompun and ketamine. Provide a theoretical basis for clinical application.The test were divided into 6 groups, combined rompun 1.749mg/kg with ketamine 2.5mg/kg,5mg/kg,10mg/kg respectively, combined ketamine 10mg/kg, with rompun 0.43725mg/kg,0.8745mg/kg,1.749mg/kg respectively.Rompun 1.749mg/kg, be injected with ketamine 2.5mg/kg,5mg/kg,10mg/kg respectively. Record separately induction time, anesthesia time, recovery time, when 30s,5min,10min,20min,30min,40min and contraction reaction, recorded the test dogs’ respiratory rate, heart rate, temperature, blood oxygen saturation. SPSS 17.0 was used to analysis the collected data.Ketamine 10mg/kg, be injected with rompun 0.43725mg/kg,0.8745mg/kg,1.749mg/kg respectively. Record separately induction time, anesthesia time, recovery time, when 30s,5min,10min,20min,30min,40min and contraction reaction, record the test dogs’ respiratory rate, heart rate, temperature, blood oxygen saturation. SPSS 17.0 was used to analysis the collected data.Experiment results show that combined ketamine 10mg/kg, with rompun 1.749mg/kg is the best performance, can maintain anesthesia for 28.6 minutes. Can be used to gelding and which operation need for a short time.
