This paper studies biochar that as a functional microorganism carrier and its application in city life sewage sludge composting, designs a set of urban sludge composting plant, conducts a research of city sewage sludge added with biochar and city sewage sludge, and the prospects of its application. This paper uses plate count method to study the application potential of biochar as a functional microorganism carrier and experiment to optimize the biochar dosing quantity, concentration of bacteria liquid, oscillation key influence factor such as time, adsorption temperature to study the feasibility of biochar as a functional microorganism carrier and the best condition.The thesis also conducts the related research of urban sludge manure composting and tests that process for biochar dosing quantity was 3%,6%,9%, as T1, T2, T3, not adding the biochar as CK, composting period of 35 days, carried out in accordance with the design of experiment compost and sampling of its moisture content, pH, conductivity, total organic carbon, dissolved organic carbon, total nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium, C/N index were tested. At the same time, we also analyzed the urban sludge composting products the E4/E6, Germination Index, and exploited the verification.The main results were as follows:1. When biochar dosing quantity was 0.4 g, its largest adsorption capacity was 3.8×107 CFU/g; when there was a 2-time microbial diluted concentration, adsorption quantity was 2.3×107 CFU/g; Through the oscillation for 150 min, biochar adsorption quantity was 2.9×107 CFU/g; If adsorption temperature was 35℃, the adsorption quantity was 2.6×107 CFU/g; The best adsorption conditions for biochar:biochar dosing quantity 2.4g, microbial 2 times diluted multiples, oscillation for 150 mins, adsorption temperature at 40℃, the adsorption effect of Effective Microorganisms could reach 3.8×107 CFU/g.2.Various processing could smoothly complete the composting process, the temperature was rising rapidly before a slow downward trend, adding 3%,6% of biochar composting at 50℃ more than 10 days, and adding the 9% biochar compost but didn’t add biochar compost to maintain time was only about 6 days over 50℃,3%,6%, biochar dosing quantity was better than that of adding 9% biochar and without adding the biochar.3.Through the test of compost pile body in the process of moisture content, pH, conductivity, total organic carbon, water soluble organic carbon, total nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium, C/N, E4/E6, Germination Index, comprehensive evaluation of all aspects of the data, it could be seen that biochar addition amount was 3%, the effect of compost were the best, followed by biochar addition amount was 6%, biochar addition amount of 9% or not add biochar effect of compost were the worst.4.Composting treatment T1 in cabbage potted experiments for 30 days,60-day’s yieldings were higher than T3 and CK, but the highest was T2 production, namely, biochar dosing quantity was highest in 6% yield, adding the amount of 3% slightly times, dosing quantity was 9% and without adding the biochar production of compost was poorer, pure soil cultivation of Chinese cabbage production was minimal.This study showed that as an excellent functional microorganism carrier, biochar could be applied in the aerobic composting of urban sludge compost products of good quality.
