The object study was conducted to elucidate the effects of L-theanine on growth performance of finishing pigs. The experiments need four groups, so every group have three replicate and every replicate was four pigs. Control group was feed with basal diet without supplementation of L-theanine, adding 200 mg/kg L-theanine on the basal diet as group 1, adding 500mg/kg L-theanine on the basal diet as group 2 and adding 1000mg/kg L-theanine on the basal diet as group 3. The duration of experiment was 37 days. The object of this study of automatic collected data by using American Fire Feed Intake Record Equipment.The effects of L-theanineon growth performance of finishing pigs.(1)The feed intake of group 3 were significantly higher than other groups(P<0.05), at the date of 29, the feed intake of group 1 and 2 were significantly higher than countral group(P<0.05);(2)After the date of 15, the body weight of group 3 was significantly higher than other groups(P<0.05), at the date of 29 and 36, the body weight of group 2 was significantly higher than countral group(P<0.05);(3)All the groups about the ratio of feed to gain(F/G) was no significantly. In conclusion, adding L-theanine at the rate 1 000 mg/kg can improve the growth performance of finishing pig.The effect of the different adding level of L-theanine on blood biochemical index and immune factors level in finishing pigs.(1)Compered with the countral group, the Alanine transaminase(ALT)、aspartate transaminase(AST)、albumin(ALB) and glucose(GLU) were on significantly change about the experimental groups(P>0.05), the group 2 and 3 of TP level were significantly increased(P<0.05).(2)Compered with the countral group,the Malondialdehyde(MDA) and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) were no significantly change, group 2 and 3 of cortisol(COR) was significanyly reduced and group 3 of alkaline phosphatase(ALP) was significantly reduced(P<0.05).(3)Compered with the countral group, group 2 and 3 of Immunoglobulin G(Ig G) was significantly increased, the level of IL-10 was significantly reduced, the Immunoglobulin A(Ig A) and Immunoglobulin M(Ig M) were on significantly change. In conclusion, adding L-theanine at the rate 1 000 mg/kg can improve blood antioxidant and immune ability, improve the growth of finishing pig.The effects of L-theanine on intake behavior of finishing pigs.(1)Compered with the countral group, except for 22 d and 29 d the group 3 of intake times significantly reduced(P<0.05), in 1d,15 d,36d group 2 of intake times was significantly reduced(P<0.05), but group 1 was no significantly change(P>0.05).(2)Compered with the countral group, group2 and 3 of intake time significantly increased(P<0.05), but there was no significantly change about group1(P>0.05).(3)Compered with the countral group, in the 1d~22d, group 1 and 3 were no change, group 2 about the rate of intake was significantly reduced(P<0.05), in 29d~36d, group 1 about the rate of intake was significantly increased(P<0.05), group 2 was on significantly change(P>0.05), group 3 was significantly increased in 36d(P<0.05). Accordingly, adding L-theanine can improve palatability of the feeds, increase the ratio of feeding time and rate of intake, improve the daily gain of finishing pigs and the period of fattening was shortened.In conclusion, adding 1000mg/kg L-theanine on the diet can significantly improve the growth performance and enhance the ability antioxidant, immune and shorten the date about fatten.
