The UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)had been engaged in military activities mainly as intelligence and information weapons in the past. With the progress of science and technology, as UAVs’ Small、flexible and low cost, the UAV have been more application in civil fields such as environmental protection, traffic, weather, aerial photography and other fields, but the range of application is narrow yet, so it is imperative to expand the application field of UAV. At the same time, the Extenics is also developing rapidly as the burgeoning discipline to solve the problem of the contradiction, and has got the great achievement, However, it need more research if the Extenics get to the mature.Besides, the fruit picker also is developing in farming quietly. However, this type of machine are walking robot, there is difficulty to do the aerial work, and it’s very costly. So, this paper will introduce the UAV into the field of fruit planning, put forward a project about the fruit-UAV-picker with the knowledge of Extenics, and do the innovative design of the picker.This paper has analyzed the theory of the extension, especially the method of the extension design,if between components exist mutual constraint or a component is limited by other components,this method is not applicable.So,based on it,the method of component level division is put forward.it makes the level of components distinct,in order to ensure the design smooth. The paper also research the method of Extension evaluation, it is found that the evaluation features are easy to be missing. So, the four-model is put out to get the characteristics of object,to reduce the risk of features’ missing and increase the reliability of the evaluation result.Then analyze the contradiction of aerial picking with the Extension, put award the scheme of the fruit picking machine which takes the UAV as the body, and design the structure of UAV-picker with the improved-extension-design, the result verifies the feasibility of the method. Then,the simulation experiment about vision is carried out, it show that the accuracy is very good about the UAV identifying object’3D, Finally,analyze the attendee’s,the user’s, the material’s and the producer’s features,to get the overall characteristics of the picking machine,then do the evaluation about the UAV-picker with the Extension Evaluation,it shows that the UVA-picker has great research value.This paper has done the design of the UAV picker with the improved Extension-Design, has done the simulation of binocular vision, Finally, has done the evaluation about the UAV picker with the improved Extension Evaluation, the result not only show that the project of UAV picker is feasible, but also show that the method of the improved Extension Design and the Extension Evaluation are available.
