Plant phenology is considered as "natural language", its response to global climate change is used as "Diagnostic fingerprints" of global warming. Various plant phenological period has close relationship with environmental factors, however, the decisive factor is still controversial. In this paper, we selected 21 common plants between Macau and Guangzhou to monitor the plant phenology from December 2013 to December 2015 in Macau and December 2014 to December 2015 in Guangzhou. the community characteristics and phenology of the common species between the two places were studied and through the statistical analysis to reveal the influence of climatic factors on plant phenology. The results showed that:1. There were 21 common species in Macau and Guangzhou plots. There were 73 species of vascular plants, belonging to 43 families and 64 genera in plots with area of 1200 m 2 in Huo Lu Hill community. Flora analysis shows four communities of Macau have a stronger tropical nature than Guangzhou Huo Lu Hill Community.2. Based on phenological pattern and specimen information of the common species between the two places carry on comparative analysis, the results showed that budding of common species have a similar phenological pattern, while leaves spreading, leaves changing colors and shedding phenophase showed more differences. From checking specimen of Desmos chinensis. With the global warming, the flowering period of Desmos chinensis appeared in advance, and the fruit period was delayed from checking specimen data.3. At the individual level, flowering duration and fruiting duration of Litsea rotundifolia var. oblongifolia 、Sterculia lanceolata 、Psychotria rubra in Macau shorter than in Guangzhou, flowering duration in Macau shorter than Guangzhou?at the group leve, flowering duration of Sterculia lanceolata in Macau shorter than in Guangzhou, while fruiting duration in the contrast. flowering duration and fruiting duration of Litsea rotundifolia var. oblongifolia 、Psychotria rubra in Macau longer than in Guangzhou.4. The method of principal component analysis was used to analyze the correlation between plant phenology and climate factors. In the bud stage, the number of accumulated rainfall and relative humidity were the dominant factors in Macau, while the number of accumulated rainfall and sunshine were the dominant factors in Guangzhou? In the leaf stage,the number of accumulated sunshine and average temperature were the dominant factors in Macau, while the number of accumulated rainfall and relative humidity were the dominant factors in Guangzhou? In the flowering stage, the number of accumulated rainfall and relative humidity were the dominant factors in Macau, while the number of accumulated average temperature was the dominant factor in Guangzhou? In the fruiting stage, the number of accumulated average temperature and sunshine were the dominant factors in two place.5. The phenograms of common species between the two places were drawn. The phenological period of most species had a overlapping phenomenon, some species also show visually a strong asynchrony.
