The maize is the major grain crop in China, which is the first crop in Heilongjiang Province and located in one, two, three and four temperature zones. According to statistics, the planting area in three and four is about 40% plantation areas. The yield in per mu is about 55 to 69% of one and two temperature zones. Transplant is an effective technological measure to accumulate temperature,extending the growing season, make yield high and stable. Therefore, transplant technology is an effective method to enhance maize production in three and four temperature zones. This agronomic measure has been confirmed with an increase yield about 200kg/mu in 2011 and 2012,in Nehe City,Qinggang and Helen, Heilongjiang Province. However, a large amount of artificial transplant employment, low labor efficiency, high labor intensity and low input-output ratio restrict the application of this measure. Thus, the maize seedling transplant mechanization is the technical support on a large scale in agronomic measure.The paper designs maize seedling transplanter transportation and separation mechanism according to Heilongjiang province Ne He, Qing Gang, Helen and other cities and counties to promote the successful experience of maize paper seedling transplanting technology, combined with agronomic requirements. The mechanism focuses on solving artificial feeding seedling inefficient, labor-intensive and other deficiencies, in order to analyze and design corn paper seedling transportation, sorting and separation mechanism.The paper puts the focus on folding paper nursery seedling tray used in maize seedling transplant and studies the paper type seedling transportation and separation mechanism. This system breaks the traditional precise feeding method and has a advantage over its simple structure.This idea minimizes the restrictions of the position and posture on manual feeding, thereby the labor tension of feeding hands is relieving their fatigue and improving its production.According to the current, the combination of agricultural machine technology and agriculture, put the focus on analyzing and researching the paper type seedling transplanter transportation mechanism. Taking advantage of virtual prototyping technology to accomplish three-dimensional model, assembly and engineering drawings. The key parts was designed and checked, at last, completing the paper type seedling transplanter transportation mechanism test physical prototype process, assembly and commission.The main parameters that affect paper seedling carry out single factor and multivariate experiment in the test bed. To seek the best combination of operating parameters, with three factorsand five levels quadratic regression rotation center combination test methods, taking seedlings feeding speed, rotational speed of the disk and paper seedlings space as main factors and seedling separation rate and working efficiency as objective function. At last, the optimization experiment research was done and the influences of factors to separation seedling passing rate and working efficiency were analyzed. The best combination of operating parameters was obtained: when the paper seedling space is 13 mm, feeding speed and rotational speed of the disc are 2.6 to 3.0m/min and 16 to 19r/min respectively, the paper seedling separation rate is 95%, and the paper seedling working efficiency is 61/min.The experimental results show that the structure of paper type seedling transportation mechanism is simple and reliable. And this structure can support flexible disc, guide seedlings and basket transplanter with the matched transportation and separation mechanism.
