Study On The Optimized Method Of Floating Nursing Cotton Seedling And Its Transplant Technology

The floating nursing cotton seedling was another major nursing seedling technologicalinnovation after the floating nursing tobacco for field crops. In order to further simplify themethod of nursing seedling, promote the efficiency of seedling and transplant, this studywas carried in a scientific research base to find the optimized method and transplanttechnology of floating seedling on cotton during 2005 and 2007. The results showed that:(1) The cotton floating system had the obvious seeds sowing position effect, thesuitable depth of sowing seeds was 1.5-2.0cm and the most superior effect was sowing bylaying seeds horizontally where the rate of seedling emergence was the highest, the rate ofseedling of unshelled cotton seeds was the lowest and the quality of cotton seedling was thebest in the sowing depth ranging from 1.5cm to 2.0cm.(2) Soaked seeds could effectively control the height of seedling, prevent excessivegrowth, increase diameter of stem and enhance root system vigor and so on while obtainingthe best strengthening seedling effect by DPC(200mg/l), PP333(100mg/l) and S-3307(200mg/l).(3) The experiment on different sowing time while transplanting at the same timeshowed that the seeds sowing effect was the best, the survival rate of the transplanted wasthe highest, the seedling recovering stage was shortest and the output was also highest withseeds sowed from April 15 to April 25.(4) The experiment on different transplanting time while sowing at the same timeshowed that the effect was the best, the rate of survival cotton seedling transplant was thehighest, the seedling recovering stage was shortest when the seedling were one leave oneheart or two leaves one heart.(5) There was significant difference between cotton floating nursing seedling andnutrition earthen bowl system in yield. But There was no difference between the cottonfloating nursing seedling and the nutrition earthen bowl system on fiber quality. (6) The effect was the best by hole fertilization, next was the furrow fertilization andscatter fertilization in seedling of cotton floating system.
