The Research And Development Of The Evaluation System Of Natural Reserve For Wild Animal

Development of nature reserve is an important policy in our country to protect forests, wetlands, deserts ecosystems, wildlife and biodiversity. All along, whether the establishment of nature reserve has achieved its purpose of conservation is a controversial issue. Since the protection effectiveness of nature reserve will affect future policy implementation and funding, its assessment means a lot. With the popularity and development of the Internet, information technology has been applied to all walks of life, as the most important and extensive way of global communication and sharing of scientific research, education, business and social information. Therefore, to design a fast, accurate and convenient system for the evaluation of nature reserve’s protection effectiveness with information technology is urgent and significant. In this paper, we established an evaluation system of nature reserves for wildlife by using information technology, prototyping and top-down development strategy.This system was developed by PHP language, using Codelgniter based on the popular MVC framework, with bootstrap used for front-end display to improve both the user experience and the scalability of the system. The system comprises a foreground evaluation subsystem and a background management subsystem. The background management subsystem establishes a series of evaluation index, while the foreground evaluation system rates the protection effectiveness of wildlife nature reserves. In addition, the system retains the history evaluation results for the nature reserves to make subsequent data analysis, helping make decisions on the management of nature reserves to achieve better protection effectiveness. With the visual evaluation results for protection effectiveness, this system can draw more attention to the establishment and regulation of nature reserve assessment to further promote its effectiveness.
