Forage grass resources are very abundant in our country, but traditionally harvested straw mainly adopts the method of open storage, straw nutrition loss serious, utilization rate of less than 30%, to improve the utilization rate of forage grass resources and the realization of the mechanization of forage grass resources storage, vigorously develops the capsular silage technology. At present, the domestic scholars have made a lot of application research on coated machine, but the envelope principle and experimental research, and mainly for the table coated machine(i.e., coated the turntable driven round bale’s rotation and revolution) at the same time study, the capsule form is low power consumption, large spacing device cannot adjust when working, the length and diameter of round bale strictl y limited, lead to this type of coated machine cannot be adjusted according to different size of baling circular binder, the applicable scope is small, and large foreign coated equipment complex, expensive, does not conform to the present situation and actual needs of livestock industry development in our country. To this end, the paper baling equipment on the basis of existing in our country, according to technology requirements, coated silage jib type circular bale coated machine design.Based on the tensile test was carried out on the stretch film, as well as the jib type round bale coated machine design and modeling, at last, by rotating arm round bale coated machine experimental research, the main research conclusions are as follows:(1) The study of stretch film tensile test. Stretch film to make use of electronic tensile testing machine tensile test, analysis of tensile film length, layer number, loading speed and the maximum tensile strength and elongation of the three factors, the analysis results sh ow that the three factors influence on the maximum tensile strength and elongation of the rule is: as the film increases, the maximum tensile force leveled off after fall first, take the lead to rapid decrease elongation, and tend to be slowly decreased; With the increase of stretch film layer of stretch film maximum tensile force and increase productivity is a quadratic curve; With the increase of loading speed, maximum tensile strength and elongation increased first, and then leveled off. As a result, the jib type round bale coated in the process of machine design, under the condition of meeting the envelope requirement, choose the appropriate parameters can enhance the maximum tensile strength and elongation of tensile film, reduce the consumption of stre tch film, improve the quality of coated, coated after round bale against breakage and silage fail.(2) Based on the stretch film tensile test, according to the capsular silage technology requirements, jib type circular bale coating machine was designed. This machine was mainly composed by frame, roller mechanism, adjustable limit mechanism, jib mechanism, film mechanism and transmission system, Three-dimensional modeling software was used to modeling and assembly of various components, the structure and parameter of key parts were introduced in detail, The working principle of the whole machine and the transmission process were introduced on the basis of the assembly. The derrick power consumption is 1.6 kJ, coated for31 s/bundle, stretch film consumption is 2.4 kg/t.The jib type round bale coated machine which was designed in this paper has simple structure, high working efficiency, and can adapt to the diameter of 0.5 ~ 1 m round bale coated oper ation, through the experimental research of coating machine, the optimal parameters, can effectively improve the coating quality and efficiency, lay a foundation for forage grass coated silage.
