The seed vigor and germinating ca As the development and utilization of lily goes on, its market become bigger and bigger. Exploitation of wild resources is an important way to satisfy the needs of the market. Lilium regale, Tiger lily, Lilium sulphureum which are cultivated in open field in Pixian base are the materials of this research. Aim to provide the technical support and experimental basis of breeding and culture of lily, this study measured the morphological feature and growing character of lily and compare the difference of the three kinds of lily using correlation analysis and variance analysis.1. pacity of the three kinds of wild lilies are higher after stored for half a year. Its average germination rate is between 85.46% and 87.22% and its difference of mutual germination, the content of protein and the total content of soluble sugar is smaller.2. The plants of the three kinds of wild lilies which are reproduced by seed production have close growth stage. They are all germinated quickly 5-6 days after been sowed. The next 7-11 days is its elongate shoots period, and 30-35 days after that is squaring period. From squaring to flowering is about 38-40 days. The settling period is only 8-10days and relatively short. The whole growth period is about 91-96 days.3. The measurement of plant height, stem diameter, numbers of blades, leaf area, stem height and garlic quality shows that there are interspecific differences and inter-individual differences. But interspecific differences are significant, on the other hand inter-individual differences are not significant. The analysis of index variability shows that the highest of variation coefficient of Lilium regale are stem diameter and that of Tiger lily and Lilium sulphureum are leaf area. The lowest of variation coefficient of Lilium regale and Lilium sulphureum are numbers of blades and that of Tiger lily is plant height. The plant height, stem diameter, numbers of blades and stem height of Lilium regale are significantly different with those of Tiger lily and Lilium sulphureum. The leaf distance of Lilium regale are significantly different with Tiger lily, but not significantly compared with Lilium sulphureum. The garlic quality of Lilium regale is significantly different with Lilium sulphureum. There are significant difference in the floral organs of three kinds o lilies. The highest difference is the lateral coralla, the slowest difference is the length of the style. There are big differences in the seeds of three kinds of lilies and the simple fruit numbers of Lilium sulphureum is highest.4. There are positive correlation between the plant height and the stem diameter, numbers of blades, leaf area, stem height, garlic quality of three kinds of lilies. The plant height had a significant positive correlation to stem diameter and stem height, outstanding positive correlation to numbers of blades, negative correlation to leaf area.5. The three kinds o lilies are adaptable and are keen to moderate climate and sunniness. The well-drained Sandy soil is fit for those lilies. Ridge culture could strengthen the root growth. The change of leaf area is S-line. The leaf area grow slowly in the early stage, faster in the rosette stage and become slow after the plant grow to 70% height.In the conclusion, the three kind of lilies progeny have merits such as minor variants, stable characters and high propagation coefficient. It can be used in parent generation directly and can be rapidly propagated in the production cultivation.
