An soil actinomycete was found in the bioactive selecting process, which could produce insecticidal and antifungal activity substances, and it was named SPRIC-1. The antifungal compounds and insecticidal compound produced by soil actinomycete SPRIC-1 has been systematically researched and obtained, while the structure of them were identified.A series of crude separation and purification was operated to fermentation of SPRIC-1 with bioassay-guided fractionation being in progress throughout. Two antifungal compounds and a insecticidal compound has been isolated from the fermentation by solvent extraction, silica gel chromatography, thin layer chromatography, and high performance liquid chromatography and other methods. They were named SPRIC-1-1-SPE, SPRIC-1-2-HOP with antifungal activity and SPRIC-1-3-INS with insecticidal activity. The spectra data of UV, MS,’H-NMR,13C-NMR,2D NMR and others were used to identify these compounds. The molecular formula of SPRIC-1-1-SPE was confirmed as C15H10O5, with a molecular weight of 270, and its structure was as same as known compound Genistein through literature review. And there’s no report on its agro antifungal activity; The molecular formula of the compound SPRIC-1-2-HOP was confirmed as C15H10O4, with a molecular weight of 254, and the structure is similar with Genistein. It was not obtained from natural products yet. After searching the literature and analyzing NMR spectrum, compound SPRIC-1-3-INS was found to be piericidin A, a kind of respiratory chain inhibitors. The molecular formula was comfirmed as C25H37NO4, with a molecular weight of 415. The HPLC analysis method was established to analyze the three compounds in the process of fermentation and purification, which can provide theoretical basis for fermentation and extraction process.Through the bioassay, the MIC of the compound SPRIC-1-1-SPE against Hm (Helminthosporium maydis) is 62.5 ug/ml in vitro, while the MIC of compound SPRIC-1-2-HOP against Po{Pyricularia oryzae) is 24|μg/ml in vitro. The compound SPRIC-1-3-INS is a broad spectrum insecticide because of being a kind of respiratory chain inhibitor.
