Mango is an important tropical crop in china, and Tainong mango Series is one of the mango cultivars. With the development of mango plantation management technology, the sizes in area and production of mango continued to increase at the same time, more comprehensive theoretical studies are necessary equally. In the present study, we studied Tainong mango, the largest varieties of mango cultivation in Hainan, by finding the discipline of a variety of elements in leaves, as well as leaf nutrient performance differences in different time, leaf position, as well as regional conditions, exploring Tainong mango appropriate diagnostic site and time, and making appropriate element diagnostic indicators. Provide part of the basis for the production management and researches of Tainong of mango.(1) According to leaf nutrient variation,Tainong mango growth cycle is divided into four stages:vegetative growth stage, the period of after fruit trees were pruned and before flower was going to be induced, from April to August; reproductive growth phase, from September to November, in which reproductive organics develop and grow such as flower induction, blossom, and flowering, finally growing small fruits; fruit enlargement stage, from December to January, in which fruits expanded rapidly; fruit maturation phase, from February to March. For different local managements, there may be time difference of 1-3 months from Vegetative stage to reproductive growth stage.(2) Average nutrient content of the leaves are:Ca> N> K> Mg> P> sulfur> Mn> Fe> boron> zinc, the highest average content of calcium is a good explanation for Tainong mango’s better storage. The nitrogen content in the second, potassium content behind nitrogen, the magnesium content ranking fourth, the content of phosphorus, sulfur, and manganese are near.(3) in the entire Nutrition period, the content of nitrogen, potassium, calcium magnesium showed a similar trend that in the growth phase emerged first increased and then decreased. In the vegetative stage, with the leaves grow, these three elements’ accumulation increased relatively, but markedly fallen when entering fruit enlargement stage. Copper and zinc in the low level, these content, represented a trend increased first and then decreased and raised again, during the entire period. The iron content showed a similar trend as Copper and zinc did, with two high-content ends and a low middle. Boron volatility increased in previous period, decreased later. Phosphorus, sulfur content’s change is not obvious throughout the year, the same trend of manganese and calcium content are first and then decreased. Iron increased with the vegetative growth, declined in the reproductive growth period, and then increased again late stage.(4) The content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur in the two canopy leaves showed a basically consistent trend. However, during some periods, iron, zinc and copper appeared to be different. A same content curve trend for Manganese and boron was observed, but there were differences in their content between the two canopy leaves.(5) in the same period of time but different places, the content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, manganese, copper, zinc, boron in Tainong mango were significantly different. Because of the differences in the management and growth, the phosphorus content did show a significant difference, except in the vegetative growth period(6) There were two appropriate sampling time of Tainong mango:the first was the vegetative stage, one month before flower induction. Best sample leaves are second canopy leaves. The Tainong mango appropriate nutrition diagnostic indicators range:N 12.78■ 18.78g/kg, P 1.17~1.41 g/kg, K 4.66~8.06 g/kg, Ca 14.18~26.51 g/kg, Mg 0.96~2.27 g/kg, S 1.19~1.75 g/kg, B 17.07~29.62mg/kg, Fe 27.45~70.7 mg/kg, Mn 682.79~1438.19 mg/kg, Cu 3.63~6.15 mg/kg, Zn 10.41~25.54 mg/kg. The second was the reproductive growth phase, flowers flaming in the month. Best sample leaves were the first canopy leaves. The Tainong mango appropriate nutrition diagnostic indicators range:N 16.11 ~18.51g/kg, P 0.97~ 1.26g/kg, K 2.25~6.53g/kg, Ca 19.03~28.87g/kg, Mg 1.6~2.33 g/kg, S 1.35~1.69 g/kg, B 20.55~42.52mg/kg, Fe 20.05~67.76 mg/kg, Mn 939.19~1232.52 mg/kg, Cu 2.85~7.40 mg/kg, Zn 11.92~20.67mg/kg.
