In this paper,according to the design requirement of 4U-1400 potato harvester,the use offunctional analysis,comprehensive functions,evaluation,qualitative evaluation,quantitative analysis,empirical analysis and other methods to complete the whole design of principle scheme.Design and analysis of structure of the two soil potato separation device,the use of theoretical analysis and 3D simulation software Solid-works Motion on the two soil separation potato tuber conveying device on motion analysis,determine the significant influence tuber conveying factors,the optimized parameters of orthogonal test,and provide a theoretical basis for the design of the harvesting machine separation conveyor device.Combined with the function of the prototype in two generations,is proposed to improve the function and components of a new generation of prototype.The rich collection of the harvester for tuber,in order to adapt to the different geographical environment,the machine in addition to tuber bagging,and new surface stacking and lay in the field and other functions.Considering the potato harvest process,combined with the structure and function of the machine,the machine drive system,power and that each device and the results of software simulation and theoretical calculation of consumption.Finite element static load on the frame,using the Solid-works Simulation function of the scraper,so as to determine the safety performance of each main parts,ensure the stability of the field operations.The potatoes bagging operations to adapt to the soil loose,no compaction(film) in dry land potato harvest;when the soil humidity,agglomeration is serious,the machine can also be tuber focus stacking(hydraulic) or a shop on the ground.A field experiment was carried out on the prototype,record the experimental data,and the data analysis and processing the prototype deficiencies,field test results showed that during the machine operation transmission tuber is more stable,not easily hurt the potato potato and soil separation effect is good.The main operating indicators meet the provisions of the agriculture industry standard "NYT 1130-2006" of the potato harvest machinery.
