Research On Adaptability And Cultivation Techniques Of Purple Leaf Wax Growth

Due to Xinjiang’s special climate, species suitable for landscaping are very monotonous, and they lack of color stereoscopic. It is difficult to meet the development of city greening and beautification. To rich Xinjiang landscape, improve the design level of garden, build a modern living environment, and the introduction of suitable species for the development of Xinjiang color greening trees. The research studied the purple leaf wax growth adaptability and cultivation technology furtherly, and helped the introduce of the colored leaf trees. This research studied the dynamic changes of pigment, cold resistance mechanism of the selected purple wax, established the adaptability, ornamental evaluation system, carried out the research of seedling breeding, fertilizer and water management, pruning, improving leaf ornamental techniques. Summed up the seedling breeding techniques of purple leaf wax systematically, and provided scientific basis for large area popularization of tree species,and the development of large-scale breeding.Large area of the trees, especially the cultivation of green seedlings, not only to enhance the color, beautify the landscape in arid area, and greatly improve the economic income of the breeders, there has great potential application value.
