Harbin is located in high latitudes, the summer drought environment can be the application of garden perennial flower resources shortage, so choose strong plant material that drought resistance, low maintenance and water-saving, rich landscaping plant species has important significance.To provide a scientific basis for the landscaping application, the Drought Adaptability of two kinds of Astilbe research, watch the better of Astilbe chinensis and A.koreana as experimental materials.The local application of adaptability evaluated by observing two Astilbe in Harbin in open cultivated the growth rhythm of development characteristics. On two kinds of Astilbe of (10%, 20% and 30%) of PEG simulated drought stress and artificial control of water drought stress (0, 5,10,15,20,25), and some physiological indicators were measured and photosynthetic characteristics.Combined with complex water experi,jment, the drought resistance of comprehensive evaluation and two between difference of Astilbe chinensis and A.koreana.The results show that:under PEG stress and artificially controlled water drought stress experiment, two kinds of plants showed tolerance against drought. Astilbe chinensis drought resistance stronger.(1) Under PEG stress 30h, PEG 10% stress Astilbe chinensis reached level 2 wilting Astilbe koreana PEG 10% reached the level 3 wilting degree,20% and 30% stress 30h after two kinds of Astilbe chinensis respectively reached grade 3 and grade 4 wilting degree. Artificially controlled water tests, Astilbe chinensis withered death in 25d and A.koreana withered for 20d. After adding water, under 10% PEG stress of Astilbe chinensis has new leaves than Astilbe koreana. Artificial water control after rewatering, two were from the root to Astilbe sprout leaves.(2)PEG simulated water stress had significant effects on two kinds of astilbin and physiological index of artificial controlled drought stress. Cell membrane penetration, MDA content and stress concentration and stress time had extremely significant positive correlation; chlorophyll content, intercellular CO2 concentration, water use efficiency and stress time was positively correlated; leaf water content, net photosynthetic rate (Pn), transpiration rate (Tr), stomatal conductance (Gs) and stress time was negatively correlated, can be used as evaluation of two kinds of Astilbe chinensis Drought Adaptability and effective evaluation factors. The content of soluble protein, SOD activity, proline content of only two part of Astilbe chinensis adaptability, can be used as a reference index. After rewatering, physiological index determination of two kinds of Astilbe chinensis, recovery evaluation of two kinds of Astilbe chinensis.(3)Two kinds of Astilbe growth rhythm difference. Astilbe chinensis seedling began in April 19, and A.koreana began in April 23, through the observation of two kinds of Astilbe chinensis germination stage, growth stage, flowering and fruiting period, Astilbe chinensis the growth developmental cycle were compared with Astilbe koreana ahead of 5-7d.
