'Bressingham Blue',H.'Albomarginata' and Astilba including A.'Peach Blossom',A. 'Cattleya',A.chinesis 'pumile',A.'Darwins Dream'.Through the research on introduction variety in Harbin's growth developmental mechanism,carried on the comparative analysis on photosynthesis physiology characteristic, carried on the preliminary appraisal and screening in this foundation with the local original Hosta and Astilbe.Chose ornamental from the multiple perspectives to be higher,was suitable for in the Harbin application variety,will from now on provide the scientific basis for it in the Harbin area application.Its findings are as follows:1.The introduction Hosta and Astilbe all may germinate,grow,blossom in Harbin,Its growth developmental mechanism has the difference.The quality synthetic evaluation result showed,under Harbin natural climatic conditions,each variety ornamental existence significant difference.2.The WUE and the light adaptation comparison findings indicated,for tries in ten typies of Hosta,the H.'Thunderbolt',H.'June',H.'Albomarginata',H.'Grand Tiara',H.'Middle Ridge',H.'Gold Standard' have higher WUE,and the light adaptation is broader.For tries in six typies of Astilbe,A.chinensis and A.koreana have higher WUE,and the light adaptation is broader,next is A.'Cattleya' and A.'Darwins Dream'.3.Hosta's ornamental appraisal target including the color of flowers and leaves, flowering season number of days,leaf watching time and so on 17 kind of factors.Astilbe's ornamental appraisal target including the color of flower,the flowering season number of days, will blossom sooner or later,the growth condition and so on 15 kind of factors.In ten typies of Hosta the quality synthetic evaluation score highest is H.'Albomarginata',the lowest variety is H.plantaginea.In six typies of Astilbe the quality synthetic evaluation score highest is A. chinensis and,the lowest variety is A.'Peach Blossom'.
