| Along with the fast and stable development of our country economy, people’s work and life are more and more quickly, and the chance to get in touch with the green is less and less.So people began to try to create one of their own green plants world in their own homes, which to increase the interests of daily life,at the same time to beautify their home environment, then the home gardening was formed. Home gardening is an activity that can manage external pressure in leisure time and let people feel pleasure and satisfactory,which is a general term for fam-ily room, balcony, terrace or small scale horticulture plant cultivation activities in the courtyard of the family. As the home gardening activity, the landscape construction can be regarded as regeneration of the green space, which can not only provide an enjoyment of life and fun place for residents, but also can prom-ote the city green quantity to a certain extent, then improve the city’s ecological effect. So the home gardening is born at the right moment along with the urgent needs of the people’s life spirit to close to nature and the green trend of the future cities.In this paper, the combination of many research methods, such as literature research, questionnaire survey and comparative analysis and so on are used to study the pattern of our urban family gardening in China:(1) The historical development situation and present situation of home gardening at home and abroad was introduced through the previous investigation and study of home gardening literature, and the existing problems of home gardening in our country were listed by comparison. A series of questionnaires of the present situation of our country residents’home gardening were conducted,such as statistical distribution of the sample population factors, sample familiarity and problems, the time of home gardening investment and statistical size distribution of family, then the results were described and analyzed at the same time.(2) This paper detailed studies and discusses Chinese urban family gardening on general situation of the models in different building space: ①The interior space of gardening mode divided into:Bench mode, One center mode, Close window mode, Surrounding model and Rhythm set point mode.②Outdoor space modes include The courtyard garden,The balcony gardening pattern and Roof gardening mode. The courtyard garden pattern divided into:Stylized pattern and Flowers posture planting pattern; The balcony gardening pattern divided into:The disorderly layer pattern and Along the edge mode; Roof gardening mode:carpet, flower beds type, shelving, gardening style.And this paper expounds the advantages and disadvantages of various kinds of patterns. The family gardening plant landscape and its classifications discussed in this paper,too. According to the different ornamental parts of plants can be divided into four ornamental types:flower, fruit, view stems and leafy. According to the family of horticultural plants cultivated forms can be divided into three planting apparatus types:potted plants (including individual view of medium-large sized plants, bonsai, flower arrangement, container plantings); Scenic area with planting utensils in building landscape and Indoor scenic gardens;(3) Summarized our country family gardening space arrangement and plant cultivation pattern,On our home gardening existing problems and puts forward some countermeasures and prospects for future development,for the future of China’s residents in the home gardening activities provide a reference. |
