Distribution And Garden Applications Of Aromatic Plant Resources In Shanxi Province

According to "The flora of shanxi"、"The list of aromatic plant assembly" and as well as the related data statistics in recent years,aromatic plants in Shanxi Province a total of 88 families,262 genera and 88 species.Respectively plants in Shanxi Province (including ferns, gymnosperms and angiosperms) families, genera and species of 55.76%,29.37% and 55.76%.According to the shanxi climate distribution and the distribution of aromatic plants,It can be divided into three regions:Ⅰ.In the temperate zone-the northern of Shanxi province,this type of 51 species,116 genera,165 species of aromatic plants,the tree class (18 species) accounted for 10.91%, shrubs class (21 species) accounted for 12.73%, grasses class (126 species) accounting for 76.36%;Ⅱ.North temperate zone-the cente and southeast of Shanxi province,this type of aromatic plants of 80 families,234 genera and 80 species,the tree class (60 species) accounted for 15.87%, shrubs class (72 species) accounted for 19.05%, grasses class (246 species) accounting for 65.08%.;Ⅲ.South temperate zone-the southwest of Shanxi province,this type of aromatic plants of 84 families,217 genera and 84 species,the tree class (51 species) accounted for 17.23%, shrubs class (59 species) accounted for 19.93%, grasses class (186 species) accounting for 62.84%.
