China is the world’s largest tobacco producer, the production of tobacco is accounting for about30%of the world’s total output, but the tobacco production mechanization level is not high, mechanization and efficiency of tobacco planting is becoming increasingly important. At present, we have various semi-automatic transplanter of tobacco transplanting, the transplanting machine adopts transplanting machine planting after artificial seedling, but the low efficiency and high labor intensity can not achieve the requirements of tobacco planting mechanization and high efficiency, so it is important to study on tobacco transplanting machine, and the main contents of this paper are as follows:1. Paper analyses and studies the problem of matching between floating seedling and seedling nursery, rotary seedling fetching mechanism. Practicality and versatility of feeding seedling mechanism and test bench are analyzed. A kind of automatic feeding seedling, seedling fetching and recovery of seedling tobacco transplanting machine is designed.2. To achieve precise transverse and longitudinal intermittent motion and their matching accusation. Comparing advantages and disadvantages of the ratchet mechanism, Geneva mechanism, an incomplete gear mechanism and cam indexing mechanism, the paper adopts cylindrical indexing cam mechanism to provide lateral intermittent motion finally.3. According to different specification of tobacco tray, paper designs one seedling mechanism through3D modeling and motion simulation by PRO/E software. In order to meet the requirements of the displacement, the vertical feeding seedling mechanism is optimized by Matlab software, So feeding seedling displacement error is minimized. Different number of teeth of the ratchet wheel and the pendulum rod length are compared. The rotating angular velocity and acceleration are analyzed. The moment of inertia of the ratcheting is determined by ADAMS software, and the dynamic model is established. The torque of ratchet mechanism in intermittent movement is analyzed by Matlab software, and the curve is draw. The best satisfied combination of torque and the displacement error is obtained.4. Paper studies recovery process of seedling disc after sending seedlings. The core of the recovery mechanism are optimized and analyzed by Matlab software, and the recovery device of seedling disk is designed. 5. Paper designs a seedling feeding mechanism test bed of tobacco transplanting machine. The automatic feeding mechanism and recovery mechanism of seedling disk are tested, and the optimal design parameters are determined.Tests prove that seedling feeding, fetching and recycling of tobacco transplanting machine functions well and it has strong practicality.
