Caragana Fabr belongs to the Leguminosae. Because of its resistance to drought and barren lands, it hasbecome one of the ideal shrubs for landscaping and afforestation in the Xinjiang Region. However, due tothe developed tap root system, its side root is relatively weak, resulting in low survival rate of bare saplingused for afforestation, as well as poor afforestation effects. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt the containernursery. This article utilizes the Caragana pumila Pojark, Caragana acanthophylla Kom, and Caraganaroborovskyi Kom as the experimental materials. Through researching on the germination rates in thedifferent collection years of3kinds of Caragana, the growing conditions and physiological properties inthe different matrix formulas, we combine the martrix physical property analysis, evaluate out the mostsuitable matrix formula by applying the multi-purpose approach, and perform some relative analysis of thematrix formula and container seeding’s quality. We hereby conclude as follows:(1)Collect and reserve the leaves of Caragana pumila Pojark, Caragana acanthophylla Kom, andCaragana roborovskyi Kom for3years in a row, and its germination rate turns out to be of no significantdifference. Treat the hibernation-broken seeds with thick sulfuric acid for15minutes, and then germinationrate of seeds of three kinds of Caragana Fabrs reach to97%.(2)Container seeding of the three kinds of Caragana Fabr conformed to the “S”-shaped changingcurve, and the Caragana pumila Pojark container seeding slowly grew before20thJuly, while Caraganaacanthophylla Kom and Caragana roborovskyi Kom grew slowly before10thJuly. Thereafter, three kindsof container seeding of the Caragana had been rapidly growing until20thSeptember, which was the rapidgrothwth period; In the wake of20thSep., seeding were slowly growing, and growth had come to a halt till10October.(3)The growth rhythms of three kinds of the ground diameters of Caragana’s container seeding arebasically identical, and young seeding’s ground diameters grew relatively slowly; after10thJuly, grounddiameters of the container seeding grew at a stable trend, without any evident rapid growth period. When itcame to October, growth of young seeding had basically co. me to a halt, but it ground diameter is stillgrowing.(4)The optimum nursery matrix formula ration of the Caragana pumila Pojark is garden soil: riversand: sheep manure=3:1:1. Height of young seeding is27.66cm, ground diameter is3.18mm, main root is41.8cm, number of side roots is41, net fresh weight is3.8g, chlorophyll content is1.882mg/g, and solubleprotein content is7.652mg/g. Secondary nursery matrix formula is garden soul: sheep manure=7:3.Optimal nursery matrix formula for Caragana acanthophylla Kom is garden soil: river sand: sheepmanure=5:3:2. Height of young seeding is11.96cm, ground diameter is3.58mm, main root length is43.14cm, number of side roots is44.6, total fresh weight is3.16g, chlorophyll content is2.577mg/g, andthe soluble protein content is10.331mg/g. Comparatively good nursery matrix formula is garden soil: riversand: sheep manure=2:2:1. Caragana roborovskyi Kom’s optimal nursery matrix formula is garden soil:river sand: saw dusts=5:3:2. Its young seeding height is12.68cm, ground diameter is2.78mm, length ofmain root is38.94cm, number of side roots is41.6, fresh net weight is2.37g, chlorophyll content is2.379mg/g, soluble protein content is1.344mg/g. In addition, the formula: garden soil: river sand: sawdust=3:1:1is for your option.(5)Unit weight of matrix, porosity, and available nitrogen content are the key factors that couldinfluence the quality of the container seeding of the Caragana pumila Pojark; rapid available phosphorus inthe matrix and the organic content are the major factors that could influence the quality of containerseeding of the Caragana pumila Pojark; unit weight of matrix, porosity, and PH value are the key factorsthat could influence the quality of Caragana acanthophylla Kom; unit weight of the matrix and porosityare the main factors that could influence the quality of the container seeding of the Caragana roborovskyiKom. In the meantime, the influence of matrix’s physical property over the quality of container seeding ofthe three kinds of Caragana outweighs that of the matrix’s nutrition content.
