After greening construction and maintenance management for ten years, the whole landscape effecthas been basically formed since the ring expressway of Hangzhou city was completed and put into usein2003.It is not only the major green channel but also a beautiful scenery line in Hangzhou city.So thispaper examines people’s perception to landscape plants and major central component units including thecentral reservation, interchange area and wings through.Conclusions encompasses the following.(1) The questionnaire shows that it is different that different groups pay attention to the highway’slandscape.The drivers mainly focus on close range landscape and the sight of the passengers is not fixed,but also their concern degree on the far landscape is not high.Geographical features, scale changes andaesthetic characteristics are important factors affecting highway’s plant landscape.In addition, thepeople’s satisfaction on plant landscape is the general and enhance the space is larger.(2) The central separation belt’s plant configuration mode of Hangzhou ring expressway mainlyincluding five modes such as the inter-planting spherocylinder mode, the single-row spherocylindermode, the hedgerow planting mode, the plastic flower arrangement mode and the louver mode is one ofthe most important contents of landscape effect in central reservation. Fewer species of plants is used inplant landscape,so effect of visual impact that landscape scale change bring is light.We should payattention to improve the landscape effect, in considering effects of plant spacing and height to theanti-dazzle effect.(3) Interchanges’landscape type of Hangzhou ring expressway has pastoral type(sparse forestgrassland type, pastoral scenery type,Jiangnan water type and forest type),suburban(mold patternstype,cultural landscape type) and intermediate type,then Jiangnan water type as the main type.Interchange is closed, free maintenance and more landscape nursery,so green space types give priorityto with arbor and herba.Interchanges’landscape of larger overpass area most is intermediate typepresenting Hangzhou jiangnan water features.On the contrary,it is pastoral scenery type.Then,lessapplication of plant species and the collocation of halosols deserts is unreasonable, so plant communityis not stable.(4) Roadside greening way has the ornamental mode,the protection forest mode,the shielding mode,the characteristic plant mode and the borrowed scenery.The forest landscape,river waterlandscape,wetland landscape,grass and shrub landscape of roadside greenbelt and farmland landscape ofthe main landscape types have higher sensitivity. The farmland landscape,forest landscape and wetlandlandscape of higher sensitivity have low environment value,anti-interference and resilience. Due to lessthe application of plant species on wetland landscape of higher sensitivity,the visual quality is lower.Onthe contrary,the visual quality of mountain landscape is the highest.(5) Plant landscape optimization of Hangzhou ring expressway should set out to the centralseparation belt, interchanges and roadside greening.The central separation belt’s plant landscape shouldbe scientifically selected plant configuration mode and pay attention to the organic combination ofgreening function, landscape effect and anti-dazzle effect. Interchanges’ plant landscape shouldstrengthen the plant species and richness of plant configuration type.The two wings of plant landscapehighlight the original topography to improve the sensitivity and visual quality of the plant landscape.
